Chapter 12: Result?

[Time: 1:30 AM

Date: Wednesday

Location: Outside of abandoned building at esuha city]

20 minutes had passed since the officer informed the others to come to the said location and has been waiting for them to arrive while leaning against a nearby post lamp. The officer kept thinking only one thing, how in the world did he ended up there and die? It has assumed that the culprit is a villain but who?

After another few minutes of waiting, the other officers arrived at the location and started to gather around the officer who witness the corpse for confirmation.

Officer 1: Thank goodness, all of you are here. Follow me.

Some officers have turned on their flashlights as they follow the suspected officer through the dim route. The light coming from the deteriorated wall is the only thing that's noticeable through their line of sight and it's a bunch of steps away from them.

As they go deeper through the path, they reached to the point where the source of light coming from and it was coming from a huge hole from the wall that's big enough for a person to go through.

One by one, they entered inside where they encountered a deserted room. Some of them started to explore the room while the others followed the officer that will lead them through the basement.

The officer led them through the opened door where the corpse lies and they were terrified from what they saw inside the room as they flashed their lights through the corpse.

Lead Officer: Shit. . .

Officer 1: I can confirm that this is without a doubt, kazuki's corpse because I found both of his phone and his walkie-talkie, shattered by someone. Not to mentioned that this corpse wore a police uniform.

The lead officer ordered the other officers within the basement to split up to search the whole basement for any clues while some officers will stay to examine the corpse.

As they examined the corpse, they reported that both of his thighs and possibly his waist were severely injured by a tool as they noticed that it was crushed and multiple stabs were present through his severe neck as well as a stab on the left chest of the corpse. The lead officer felt doleful as this man had to face the gruesome death despite of his tardiness.

After a few moments, the lead officer's walkie-talkie began to vibrate from the voice of an officer who was assigned to explore the basement further.

Officer 2: I found another opened room and it seems to me that the inside of this room looks like a torture room or some sort. The location of this room is still on the basement and I just walked straight until I found this room. I need assistance here.

Lead Officer: I'm on my way.

The lead officer sprinted out of the room and ran towards the said location until he encountered the officer who was waiting outside the room. Both officers lit up their flashlight as they enter inside the room to explore while the officer began to explain to the lead about the room.

It was an eerie and dark room as there were no windows or no light switches inside much like the previous room.

Officer 2: This room contains two restraint chairs mixed with fresh and dried blood especially on the arms of these chairs as well as dried blood on the floor near the seats and the corner on the room way back there at the end of the room. Not to mention that there are cuffs under these chairs, some of them are locked in placed on the metal bar from the chairs.
