With Ozymandias's devilbird capabilities affiliated to nature, they got to land in the nearest quiet forest. He carefully looked at Phil's still brazen countenance as she weakly coughed blood. Her body has been holed four times in vital spots by the war bullets. Ozymandias began tearing up and knowing well through the premonition that has just been clarified to him that this is a certain death for Phil, the first thing he told her was to tell him things she most wanted to say whatever it was. But the light in Phil's light gray eyes were already fading. So, he spoke instead. There, he voiced his realized feelings and confessed his identity as one of the devilbirds from the Saiavy Realm though It did not probably make sense to this human female. His story were momentarily interrupted by sobs but he began telling her the life he had in Saiavy. Until a certain devilbird's visage flickered fire in him while he scan through his memory. He paused. In that two second pause, Phil had gathered enough courage and remaining strength to say her last words.
"I had always felt the same towards you. And that is not limited to this lifetime, Ozymandias,"
Grieving, Ozymandias released her body from his hold as he rapidly regained all the blurry and hazy memories from the life he had as devilbird. He did not realize all the centuries he spent in Earth clouded his memories. However, he now began to become more and more certain of the strong aura that that particular human Commander Callum had. It did not take him too long to get enough of his consciousness from the past to reinforce his devilbird aura and simultaneously recognize the faint scent of a devilbird Commander Callum had that he had always been bothered of yet could not explain in the past months. While at it, a certain aura began to intensify around him.
Slowly, Ozymandias turned with much paler face as he seemed to be only confirming what had already crossed his mind. The aura that was intensifying was concentrated on Phil's body. She had this aura so bright, gentle and mellow yet very vibrant in his memory. He would always know that aura. It was the aura he always chased after as a devilbird. Discovering the true identity beneath the human form of Phil which was the real reason why was he so magically captivated by her presence only aggravated Ozymandias's pain and anger. He had confirmed it; She was not human.
Ozymandias wasted no time to force his body open and get his devilbird wings back. Full of wrath and pain, he flew to Commander Callum's location who then seemed to be already aware of his presence and cause of visit. When Ozymandias sighted a plain cemented house with no paint on it, its door already opened before he could even landed. Commander Callum stepped out with a slight smile curved on his lips expressing amusement. Clearly, he was enjoying the pained and angered expression painted on Ozymandias's face.
"Enegue," Ozymandias called the Commander in his real name. The name he bore as a devilbird in the Saiavy Realm.
"She would have not died if it weren't because of you, Ozymandias," Evidently calm and amused, totally unaffected by the fiery in Ozymandias's now dark gray eyes, Enegue stated, clearly referring to the deceased Phil.
His first statement resonated to Ozymandias in the worst possible way. Reason and logic had completely been erased in him. He howled, gathered all the aura he could and screamed as he cursed Enegue. His fury turned his aura into the forbidden color even to their kinds—the red. Enegue's eyes began to widen when he realized that the impossible was unfolding before him. A devilbird that had once transform into his human form began to regain its original devilbird form. Only instead of its white aura, Ozymandias's regained devilbird form is fueled by fury and rage that devours his vision and mind. Amidst the red smoke that hinders a clear view of Enegue, Ozymandias could still see the devilbird in front of him laughing as he watched him turn into his full devilbird form. Then, the laugh along with his own voice started fading as his vision started to decline. Soon after, Ozymandias lost awareness as his consciousness has been shifted to an entirely different world.
