Reincarnation Inconsistency

- x -

In his sixth life, Ozymandias opened his eyes while lying on the ground covered by dried olive green leaves. He was embraced by the serenity of this world as he stared at the placid masterpiece out of the marigold sky which frame in his vision were tall fern trees. It was expected that unlike every other devilbirds, he does not retain any memory from any of his five previous lives. And that includes his memories with Philistine. While soothed by the chirping birds, in his vision appeared two devilbirds who were inviting him to fly. They were Rupinta and Enegue.

The restoration of the balanced realm was going well. Until after some time, when everyone had relaxed and put their guards down as the gradual restoration has no problems, Philistine had found a path back to Ozymandias. They had met again. It's just that, this time, only Philistine had their memories kept inside her. In attempt to make Ozymandias remember, Philistine smiled and taught Ozymandias all the things he taught her when they had first met.

And as history goes, this story had to be ended. As if Rupinta and Enegue as well as the elders had known this, after finding out that Philistine connected with Ozymandias again, they cut her wings at the moment when she was flying around the trees with Ozymandias. Back to the moment when he caught her in his arms, Philistine reached for his face, for his forehead and touched it with hers. She was not idly being imprisoned on the other side of the Saiavy. Philistine had studied all the ways to keep this relationship with him no matter what all while he was still growing into a proper devilbird in his sixth lifetime. And in that time, Philistine reached the end of the Saiavy realm. She was the first ever devilbird to have reach the limit of their ground where only a massive accumulation of clouds can be seen.

And in that short moment that their forehead had touched, Philistine telepathically showed Ozymandias the way to the end of Saiavy before she lost her life in this lifetime. Her last thought to herself before her body turns into sparkling particles as Ozymandias's tear fell to her resonated loudly that it clearly resonated to her next reincarnation...

'We'll meet each other again in the next lifetime...'
