Reincarnation Inconsistency

- vii -

The reliving of Ozymandias's memories had ended. His consciousness had come back to where he truly was—in the human world in front of Enegue's human form while he had completely transformed into the devilbird that has only been heard in tales of Saiavy. Rupinta was also standing beside Enegue when Ozymandias had gotten back his consciousness. He had crimson red aura and he speaks the language of humans. A devilbird who had more than one emotion and had means for two-way communication. That was the old tale that had always been forbidden to be researched in their realm. It was him. It was him who was told in that tale. It was Ozymandias from the old days of Saiavy Realm. Enegue and Rupinta had realized it too. They knew Ozymandias truly was the creature that the elders had stated and assigned them to. It was the reason why they had always been with him, after all. If anything, they were relieved this terminating mission they had would take place in the human realm instead of theirs. It was a good call to follow Philistine to human world and lure Ozymandias.

A fight was inevitable. With rage, Ozymandias was the first to land a powerful attack. That was only when Rupinta and Enegue managed to compose themselves despite being shock and activated their devilbird capabilities while being in their human forms. Ozymandias did not utter any word. His attacks which are devastating the Earth ground were accompanied by pure wrath and pained screams. He was blinded by emotions that are even more accentuated by having a human body foundation for this devilbird form and by the time he had spent in Earth. While Rupinta and Enegue are clearly governed by reason and logic allowing them to gain edge despite having devilbird capabilities limited due to usage of human forms. To add to the fact that Ozymandias is blinded by his emotion, his remarkable and unique devilbird form can last an eternity only in Saiavy and not in this realm. It began exhausting him thus making Rupinta's and Enegue's mission successful. Both sides were heavily wounded but the turning point was Ozymandias's last powerful beam. It was pointed to the sky which then began a huge display of meteor shower for Earth. Rupinta and Enegue, taking advantage of the fact that Ozymandias had no full control of his body at the time, shot their combined beam while he was ascending into the sky. It touched Ozymandias's wings and that, as starting point, his body turned into sparkling, fading particles.

"It's over," Rupinta and Enegue, having a satisfied look on their faces as they watch the sparkling particles fall, uttered in unison.

It was worth all the time they had spent to put an end to this inconsistency. Philistine and Ozymandias were both inconsistency in their world that they needed to eliminate. Perhaps, their sins would finally be lifted as they had completely erased the inconsistencies in their world. Rupinta and Enegue held hands. And just like that, their souls had been immediately siphoned by the Saiavy from above. They can now return to one serene and balanced world.
