Maya exhaled carrying in the bags as she saw how her mom and Shawn were watching something on the television. Getting out her mother's latest craving she handed it over putting the rest of the stuff on the counter.
"Where were you? Definitely not working," Shawn said as Maya smiled.
"Calm down, Dad. I was at Josh's. He got into an accident and Mr Matthews wanted me to check up on him. I anyway needed to get out of the house. Think I'll go over again tomorrow. How is the baby treating you?" Maya asked.
"Not good. Think she dropped or something. What about Phoenix? We can call her Phoebe for short," Katy said.
"I like Phoenix and Phoebe. What do you think, Maya?" Shawn asked as Maya unpacked the groceries.
"You guys want to go with the middle name Hope still?" Maya asked as they nodded.
"Phoenix Hope Hunter. I like it. It's oddly acceptable. Now we have a name for her. Remember to go to your appointment at the doctor tomorrow and to pick a pediatrician," Maya said.
"What was wrong with Dr Lee?" Katy asked.
"Retired," Maya said.
"He was an excellent pediatrician to you then. Luckily you never get sick. We should get you your own doctor then. Me and Shawn both have one but..."
"Mr Matthews made sure I have an excellent one in case I need it. Can I go now? I have some stuff in my room to do," Maya said.
"Yeah sure," Katy said as Maya went to her room.
Closing the door she got out her computer as she quickly Webb on Skype pushing the buttons as she ended up on a call with Cory.
"Maya, hi. How are you?" Cory asked.
"I'm good. Sorry is this a bad time?" Maya asked.
"Busy with some tutor work but I can talk. What's up?"
"I'm I just got back from seeing Josh. It's about three over here while it's probably eight in London. He seems good but I'll pop in again tomorrow," Maya said.
"You sure? He wasn't maybe faking it?" Cory asked as Maya smiled shaking her head.
"No he wasn't. He's fine. I would know if he was faking it," Maya said.
"Okay then. Thank you. I have to go. Talk to you later. Bye."
"Bye," Maya said ending the call.
