Jack

"Jack!"

My eyes snap open and I look around. I was still in bed. I jump up, tug some sweats on and walk out of my room and to the living room.

"Yeah? What's.....up....." I trail off, hesitate. What the hell happened!?

There was stuffing all over the place and claw marks all over the furniture..which was now ruined.

"What's up? I'll tell you what's up! You ruined my furniture!" Corbyn called out.

"I did not!" I defended myself. I really didn't know how this happened.

"You were the last to bed Jack." Christina says, walking out behind Corbyn, a satisfied smirk on her face.

A snarl comes out of me. "How do you even know those are my claw marks?" I ask, trying to prove my innocence.

"Felidae's have sharper and narrow claws than Canidaes. Plus your scent is all over." Corbyn growls out.

Okay....those were good points. All signs pointed to the fact that I did this...but I didn't.

"Corbyn you have to believe me, I did not do this." I plead.

Corbyn softens up a little before he looks at all the stuffing and fabric around and his blue eyes harden back up. "Who did it then?"

I open my mouth before closing it. Fuck! There wasn't another type of Felidae that lived here. I was sweared. He only knew me for two days, he had no right to believe this wasn't me. He didn't know me well enough.

"I don't know." I say, looking down, shoulders slumped. If I was in my animal form, my ears would of been flattened to my skull.

"Why can't you just admit it!" Christina calls out, walking closer to me. "Corbyn has let you into his home and you repay him by tearing up his furniture."

I already felt bad, she didn't have to make me feel worse. I will just have to say I did it. There was no way to prove I didn't and I was the only Felidae.

"I'm...I'm sorry." I force out.

Christina huffs before she whips around and goes back to Corbyn.

"I am going to have to go get new furniture." Corbyn says, not happy.

He had the right to be mad. I would have been too. This is going to set our relationship back....way back.

"I'll come with you! It can be like a shopping date." Christina cried out, jumping up and down.

"I can g-" I begin to say but stop due to Corbyn's hard look. Yeah he didn't want me around right now. Okay...I understood that.

"I will just stay here." I finally say, looking back down at my feet. Did I do this in my sleep? No, I have never slept walked before.

"We will be back." Corbyn says harshly, not giving me a time they will be back. He turns around and walks out the front door, Christina following him out.

"Oh, you should pick your mess up." Christina calls over her shoulder, winking, before the door shuts behind her.

I look at the mess and feel the need to cry. What the hell happened!? It just made no sense.
