Corbyn
I walk out of my room slowly, inspecting the hallway. Okay that was clear, I then make my way downstairs, seeing the living room the same as I went to bed as well. The new furniture looking good.
I walk into the kitchen and see Jack making french toast.
"You know you don't always have to cook." I tell him with a smile. "Not that I am complaining it is amazing." I add on.
Jack smiles up at me. "I know, I like it though. Plus am sorry about yesterday."
"You said you didn't do it and I believe you." I say, voice firm.
Jack whips his head towards me in surprise. "What?"
"You believe you didn't do it so I believe that. I think you just did it unconsciously and you truly don't remember." I explain to him.
I really didn't have any other way it could of happened. Hmm maybe I am the one that sleep walked and did it....nope still doesn't explain Jack's scent everywhere.
"Thanks Corbyn."
I smile at him, stealing a piece of bacon that was already cooked. "So what are we doing today?"
"Umm how about a water park?!" Jack asked, a sparkle in his brown eyes at the thought.
I never wanted to see that happy glent leave, so I nod my head unable to stop my smile.
"You are still going on a date with him!" Christina called out, disbelief in her own brown eyes.
I blink in confusion. "Well yeah." I state like it was a well duh question.
Christina's eyes narrow and her lips go into a thin line. "Hmmm."
Jeez what is that about? She really doesn't like Jack. The living room thing was just a accident! It wouldn't happen again.
"Well be careful, can't trust him." Christina finally growls out.
Jack unable to control the snarl that leaves his pretty mouth.
"It will be okay. Jack said it won't happen again so it won't happen again."
"We will see about that." Christina sneered, turning on her heel and marching out.
I will have to talk with her later. She is going to have to let it go, I have. It was my furniture and if I can forgive Jack, then so can she.
"Ignore her, I will talk with her later and smooth things over. I just think she is really protective of me." I explain to Jack, not wanting him to feel bad.
"Well, you will pick her so it's probably a good thing." Jack says, eyes cast downwards while flipping his french toast to cook the other side.
My eyebrows furrow together. "Why would I chose her, I still have three months to decide."
"Well with the furniture thing...."
I shake my head and take a step closer to him. "Jack I forgive you about the living room situation. Consider it forgotten. I still want to get to know you." I tell him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.
