Raymond was completely drenched when he came back with the key in his hand. For a moment, his gaze stopped at me who was still busy rubbing my palms. "Sorry for making you this wet and freezing, Brie." He hurriedly opened the wooden door behind me. "Come on in, Brie." When the door opened, he let me in, and he did the same after me. "I'll get a towel for you." He said as he closed the door and locked it. Locked it? My eyes widen to the doorknob. Why should he locked it? I won't run away even if it's unlocked. Because there's a heavy rain outside.

Brianne, you don't know anything about Raymond. What if he turns out to be a bad guy? What if he intends to kidnap you? And you'll be his hostage in this cottage. It could be happen, right? No one knows you're here, though. My subconscious warned me. Am I too paranoid? Yeah, maybe I am. This must be because I watch too many CSI movies.

"Um, Ray?"

"Yup?" he stopped and turned to me.

However, I need to ask him, "Is there anyone else here?" I raised my eyebrow at the end of my sentence.

He pursed his lips and shook his head, "Nope," with that, my lips turned into 'O'. "But Andres should be here soon. Well, just suit yourself and I'll be right back." He continued.

"Who?" I frowned, but he quickly disappeared from my sight. Who the heck is Andres? And why would he be here? He's been planned to kidnap you with the other guy, Brie! My paranoid is back. Maybe it will be better if I don't get into this cabin any further, so I could run away easily if something bad happens.

I took off my wet sneakers and put them by the door. I don't want to leave a dirty footprints in this ... beautiful place. I peeped to the living room. And I'm surprised. From the outside, this cabin looks ordinary, but inside, it's amazing. There's a mocha couch placed near the big window which allows us to relish the lake across from it. The curtain has a same color with the couch. Of course there's a fireplace here. I mean, look at the weather here, then who doesn't need it? The walls seemed to be made of logs stacked upwards. Brown is dominant here. I feel warm just by gazing at this living room. Makes me wonder how the other rooms be looks like.

Raymond appeared out of nowhere, "Here." He handed me a white towel and ... clothes? "Um, that's my t-shirt and short. Just in case you want to change yours because they look ... wet." He glanced at my t-shirt then looked away. Fortunately, my t-shirt is not that tight nor thin, so my bra can't see through. Probably just a little since it's wet.

I gulped, maybe for the hundred times today. I do need to change, but wearing his t-shirt? And short? I'm blushing by conceive them on me. "Thank you."

"Follow me, I'll show you the bathroom."

Then I walked after him. We passed the living room, the kitchen with the small kitchen island, towards the wooden staircase, going upstairs. Then ... he stopped at the bedroom. Wait, he said bathroom, not bedroom, didn't he? What will he do to me??

"Here you are." He opened his hand to let me in and keep walking forward to open another door inside. "The bathroom is here. Here, you can use everything you need, and no need to rush at all. I'll be in the living room when you're done. So ... I'll see you later."

"Okay." I replied. Then he left the room and close the door. Silly me. What am I thinking about? Of course he brought me to the bathroom. And the bathroom is inside the bedroom. That's it. I smacked my forehead for those crazy thoughts.

Before I entered the bathroom, I was blown away by this room. Just as the living room, this room was made facing the lake. Near the white bed, there's a sliding glass door that will lead us to the balcony. Okay, I think I should go to clean myself first before making any mess here.
