Leave Me!

I walked into the lair. While I had been walking home, kids had attacked me and beat me up. I had cuts on my legs and a headache and my heart had lost all its hope. My face was cut and bleeding. I felt so small that I wanted to hide myself from the world. I've never worn a dress before and I've never worn a skirt before, just sweats and pants.

I tugged on my large hoodie and pulled it down more. On the couch sat my four brothers, Mikey trying to beat Raph in a game, Leo and Donnie watching. Donnie looked up just as I was about to go to my room. "Emma, did something happen?" Leo asked, also looking up. I froze and looked at him. I ran to my room. "Emma wait!" Mikey said, dropping his controller going after me. I reach my room and rigged my electric door trap and locked it 3 times.

Mikey knocked on the door and got shocked by my trap. "Ow!" He said jumping back. "Emma open the door!" Raph said. I heard a click as Donnie picked the lock. I opened my drawer and pulled out a knife. I held it at my wrist. 'No Emma' I thought. 'Don't do it, it's not worth it!' My emotions took over because I started cutting myself, whispering all the names the kids called me. As I heard a click! from my door, I put the knife away and rolled my selves down. Raph kicked the door down as I sat on my bed. "What's going on?" Leo asked. "Uh... g-guys", Mikey said. He pointed to the floor. There was blood from where I had cut myself.

"Where did that come from Emma?" Donnie said. I looked away. "Oh no. Don't tell me you.." Donnie started. He hugged me and lifted my arm. He rolled my sleeve up. He stared in shock at my cuts. "Did... did you do this?" He asked, his voice shaking. I felt hot tears start to fall. He picked me up and rushed me to his lab. The other followed behind. "What is going on?" Master Splinter asked as Mikey hung back and explained. I had lost so much blood that day from my deep cuts that my eyes couldn't keep open. Having deep scars reopen wasn't very helpful either. My eyes were half closed when Donnie set me down. He took out some medicine. He put some on my arms and legs, and a little on my face. He wrapped my arms in bandages and my ankles in bandages too. "Don't ever do that again, ok?" Raph said. "I didn't know a 7 year old could do that," Mikey said.

Steaming tears started to roll off my checks. They all hugged me as I quietly cried. I never did anything loud. "Emma listen", Leo said looking at me. I looked up. He hugged me. "If you ever do that again, I'll tell Raph to bust down the wall", Leo said glaring at Raph. "What?!" He said, shrugging. "Donnie was taking too long, what was I suppose to do?!" We all laughed.
