Emma, Goodluck!

I woke up and looked at the door of my room where my suitcase sat, all packed up. Today was the day I was flying to Boston with The Voice. I aced the auditions and did awesome. I couldn't beleive that I wasn't going to see my family for the next year. April took me shopping yesterday and I used my Forever 21 gift card to buy shoes and clothes. The plane left for Boston at noon. I looked at my clock. 8:30. Just great. I jumped out of my bed and changed into a pair of shorts and a shirt. I brushed and tied my hair up.

I dragged my suitcase with me out to the main room. As i entered, April was sitting on the couch and Leo was pacing behind her and Donnie was typing lightning fast on his computer. In learned my throat. The three of them looked up. April smiled and hugged me. "You ready for the time of your life?" She asked. I nodded. I wanted to make them proud. "I forgot something!" I said running to my room. I took my guitar out of my closet and ran back out to the main room.

"Good morning everyone!" Mikey said walking out of the kitchen. Raph came from his room. I yawned and set down my guitar. I rubbed my eyes and sat down on the couch. Leo chuckled and Donnie looked up from his computer. Raph ruffled my hair and sat in a beanbag chair nearby with Spike, his pet turtle. "You have to be at the airport in 1/2 an hour Emma. We need to leave right now", April said standing up. Everyone else stood and Master Splinter came from the dojo. "We can take my dad's car", April said leading us out of the lair.

When we arrived at the airport, I hugged Master Splinter. "Take care, my daughter", he said. "I'll be watching your every performance." I waved as my brothers and April walked me to my flight area. I turned to them. "Thanks for everything guys", I said. I hugged Leo. "Goodluck Emma", Donnie said hugging me. Raph ruffled my hair and hugged me. He smiled. "We're gonna miss you so much Emma!" He said hugging me tight. "Who's gunna play video games with me?" He said. "Online", I said giggling. "True. Very true", he said and I laughed. April hugged me. "Thanks a lot April. I appreciated everything", I said. I dragged my suitcase behind me and waved to them. I was so excited.

When I got on the plane, I saw other contestants on the first class plane. I smiled as we took off, knowing I'll make them proud. I promise.
