Sirius woke up, pools of sweat gathering on his forehead and those fucking terrifying images running through his mind. He was shaking, his hands not even able to hold the glass of water beside his bed. It fell to the ground. "Sirius?" A sleepy voice called out, "you ok?" When Remus' furrowed face came into view Sirius started to cry. "Hey, hey, it's ok, it's ok." Remus soothed, sitting himself next to Sirius and rubbing circles on his back. "You should be asleep." Sirius choked out, "moon's soon." Remus just shushed him, and Sirius leant his head on Remus' shoulder. "Want to try going to sleep?" Remus suggested after a moment. Sirius looked up. "Can you stay?" He asked in a very small voice. Remus smiled softly and nodded.
Sirius let Remus guide him back into bed, and then waited for Moony to climb in beside him. "You're gonna be ok." Remus whispered, kissing Sirius' temple. Sirius didn't respond, just nuzzled further into Remus' neck. "Love you." Remus murmured. Sirius grinned to himself. "I love you too Re."
