I pull down the dress leaving me in the fancy lingerie. I did not cry. I am used to this.

Did she? Did she ask me who I was? Is she playing or she really forgot everything? I walked to and fro and occasionally peep into the window to see what was happening inside. The doctors were interrogating her.
I sat down on the chair as I try to calm myself down. I don't know what is going to happen. I was so nervous.
Half an hour has passed, the doctors finally come out. I get up and almost run to the doctor who exited the room first. I scared him.
"Mr. Adonis, your wife is suffering from Amnesia"
I raised an eyebrow "Amnesia?"
"Yes, she might not remember a brief period of her life. So, don't stress her. She is in a mentally vulnerable state"
VENUS POV
Did I meet with an accident? The doctors said so. I don't remember any of that. Am I mentally ill?
My thoughts were disturbed as the same man entered the room. I looked at him with a frown as he flashed a smile. He sat next to me as I was still lying on the bed.
"Venus, how are you?"
How does he know my name?
"I am fine" I shuffled slightly away as he was uncomfortably close to me.
"Should I call the doctor? You want something?"
"No no I am perfectly fine" I smiled to give him assurance.
Minutes of awkward silence continued. I fidgeted the cloth out of boredom. Who the fuck are you man? Why are you with me? Why don't you explain it?
"I am your husband, Venus"
Hus-, What? That is unbelievable! I am 24 and he seemed to be 30 plus. I was never into 'older boys'. As much as I remember...
"Yes, Venus. I am your husband. That is the truth"
"How can I believe you?"
He took a phone out of his pocket and handed it to me. The wallpaper had a photo of me with a wide smile as he kisses my cheek. I clicked the gallery and it was too filled with our photos. Wedding, shopping, gardens, beaches and many more.
"We seemed to be a happy couple" I scrolled down as more and more photos of us appeared.
"Yes we were"
ADONIS POV
I wish that was true. I wish we were really a happy couple.
You smiled because I forced you to. I threatened you. But it's ok. I am given a second chance. I will use this chance wisely. I will correct my mistakes and be a better husband. I will cherish you, my love.
"Adonis..." She placed her hand over my shoulder. I smile at her genuinely.
"I don't remember our period of being together but I will try to recollect it"
That is not what you would wish to see.
"Ok babe" I kissed her cheek.
(Time Skip)
Finally, I am taking Venus home. I am taking medications as recommended by the doctor. Everything for my beloved wife and for our future. We barely talked to each other during the whole time in the hospital. She is still not comfortable with me. I have to change that.
"You are going to love our home"
She hummed in response. I am not going to take her to the mansion. I am trying to avoid stuff that might trigger her memories.
A new home. A new start. A new memory.
I stopped the car in the middle of the forest and we both get down. I walk beside her along the stone pathway maintaining the silence. I let her enjoy the sound of nature. She was walking with a smile.
Beautiful.
"This is our new home babe" I hugged her from back and indulged myself into her aura.
