After a dragging sit down with my parents about how lovely the evening was, I finally went to bed.
I can't stop thinking about letting Sydney go to Seattle with Keith. I don't trust Keith around her. I know he wishes he could have her, even for a single night.
My door slowly opens. I look at it and Sydney's short figure pops in. She closes it, tip-toeing into my bed. She lies onto my chest. I wrap my arms around her.
She does the same. "I'm not mad at you. I just don't want to go without you. I packed some of my clothes into Thando's suitcase so she'll have something to wear."
"Sydney-"
"I'm going but I don't really want to. Not without you."I sigh. "I know baby."
"Well, tomorrow early morning I have to attend a meeting. Otherwise I'd come with you." I say.
"I really wish you could come." She pouts. Even in the dark her brown eyes are beautiful. I place a kiss on her forehead. She smiles.
"You have a meeting tomorrow. Let's get some sleep."
I kiss her forehead again before dozing off.

Sydney and I awake round about the same time. "Morning." She smiles back, her eyes slightly shut."Come on, get up so you're all early for your flight." I say to her. I pull her up and into the bathroom. We brush our teeth alongside each other, constantly smiling at one another in the mirror.
Sydney's P.O.V
I watch as Andre removes his shirt before running the shower. He turns to me and smiles. "Its just three days." Its like he can read my mind.I know that if I don't go to Seattle today I will regret it. It's not everyday that you get to go overseas.
I remove my clothes and walk past him, stepping into the shower.
Andre soon joins me. He stands under the water having it run down his face. He looks down at me, pulling me under with him.
His hands gently explore my waist. I can feel my hair sticking to my back. Thank God this thing is waterproof.
He takes my hands and places them on his shoulders. He grabs the body wash, pouring it onto his hands. His hands rub the wash on every part of my upper body.
I giggle. "What's so funny?" I shake my head. "Hey, look at me." My eyes find his eyes. "I love you."
My heart is far too comfortable with this man. "I love you too Andre." He smiles and continues to wash me. To even things I wash him too.
When we're done I leave his room to go dress up. Thando is in the guest room going through my things. "Hey, what are you looking for?"
"Bengifuna ukuboleka ingubo(I wanted to borrow a dress)". I nod. "Oh okay. Ake ngikusize(Let me help you)."

Thando and I pick fabulous outfits with of course the help of each other. We do each others' hair and make-up.Sydney's outfit.
"Did you finish packing?" Thando asks me as she packs away the make-up. I nod. "Okay. I'll wait for you downstairs."
Thando pulls the suitcase that we'll be sharing out of the room along with a duffel bag that has our shoes in it. The suitcase is big enough for all of it but I'm not going to have any of those oufits ruined by shoes.
On my way downstairs, Thando, Keith and Andre as well as Karen are standing together in laughter about something.
Andre's attention suddenly gets drawn to me. He waits at the the end of the stairs and lifts me into his arms. I laugh and kiss his nose. "You look amazing." He tells me. I blush.
He puts me down as we join the others. Keith scans me from head to toe. I notice this but don't entertain it.
"Alright. Since Sydney's done, we should get going. We have an early flight." Keith says. Karen nods and hugs Thando and I. "Have fun girls. But not too much fun. Come back in one piece, both of you."
Thando and I chuckle in unison. "Yes ma'am." I say.
I turn to Andre and cup his face. He places his atop mine. "I'll see you after three days. Dream of me." I kiss him, following it with a hug.
Andre doesn't say anything, he just kisses my neck. After all, this isn't goodbye. I'll be back. Keith has already taken the bags to his car. Thando aims for the front seat.
We wave for the last time before we enter and drive off.

Andre's P.O.V
I drive the Range Rover to work and get all my things together before I attend the morning meeting.Nia is seated beside me, taking notes. And to my surprise, my father is here too. "Mr Miller. We can't start the meeting without Miss Swan." Mr Pillay says.
"Did she not know that we have a meeting?" I ask. "I did. But being me, being late is allowed. I'm too busy trying to keep this company on it's feet."
Elizabeth takes a seat across Mr Pillay. "Unfortunately Miss Swan, punctuality is important. Even for the boss." Mr Pillay says. "She wouldn't know that. She's never been the boss."
Elizabeth turns towards me. "Sorry, have you?"
"That's enough. Ivan, shall we begin?" My dad intervenes. Mr Pillay nods. "Portland called in on Wednesday and asked who's running this company? Whether we still are a company? And if our contract with them needs to be dismissed as they are concerned about their alliance with us."
"What did you tell them?" My dad asks. "I said to them that we're still a running company but we're still facing personal company matters." Mr Pillay answers.
"This only proves that it is time for fresh blood to step in. A new ruler to take the throne." Miss Swan says. "Then we won't have Portland calling us with a series of questions."
I roll my eyes. "I think you bore too much of your eyes and mind into Game of Thrones. Because if you haven't noticed, this is a company. Not the seven kingdoms."
"That's besides the point here Mr Miller." Miss Swan says. "This silly inheritance you're supposed to meet is silly and utterly useless. I mean, how is a woman-a black woman supposed to clean your mess?"
I nod my head. "Same question I asked, Miss Swan. How is a black woman supposed to change anything?"
She glares at me, her eyes telling me she's not happy with what I've said and with what I'm about to say. "Whether the woman be white, pink, red, black or brown. It won't change anything.
I don't mean to inferiorize women, but majority of our business allies won't take us seriously if a lady is sitting on the boss's chair."
