Song: Tonight I'm Getting Over You by Carly Rae Jepsen.

P.S. I listened to her newest single and I loved the song. You guys should check it out! It's entitled "I Really Like You".

I never made contact with Alexander. I believed that if he truly wanted me and truly wanted to maintain contact, he would've called. But he didn't.

It was a Wednesday and I had a shift today at the bakery. It was a normal day, Cass and I taking orders and decorating the cupcakes. Oh, did I mention cupcakes that looked so cute I wanted to hug it and keep it forever.

Every work day was just the same. Customers coming in and out. Mothers buying a cupcake for their children.

But today, oh no, today was different.

Our lunch break started like this.

"Let's go it at the Italian restaurant downtown." Cass said brightly as I removed my red apron and hanged it on the rack. I was left wearing my white button up and red shorts which was enough for a casual lunch out.

I looked back at Cass with a funny face. "But that's fine dining, not to mention it's way more expensive than McDonald's."

Cass made a look of disgust. "Of course everything is way more expensive than McDonald's. What I'm saying is it's an affordable fine dining."

I stuck my tongue out at her. "Fine. But the bill's on you." I pointed out.

Cass sighed. "Fine. Now let's go."

I knew something was up.

"We're having lunch out." Cass announced towards Gabe who was our closest friend here which was a baker, the gay one with the scarf.

I caught Gabe's sound of acknowledgement before Cass dragged me outside.

Luckily, we found an empty spot at the restaurant. Mostly it was a full house especially during lunch time. Not everyone in this neighborhood could afford extravagant Italian restaurants.

"So? What did you want to talk about?" I asked after we finished making our orders.

"Whatever do you mean?" Cass asks innocently.

"What I mean is you won't treat me in an Italian restaurant out of nowhere if you don't have to say anything important." I said pointedly.

Cass huffs. "Right. You caught me. But this is really important so please don't freak out." She warns.

I nod my head for her to continue. She straightens her back and breathes deeply before speaking.

"I want you to be my maid of honor." She ends with a big smile.

"No." I gasped.

Cass's face crumbles.

"No! I don't mean it like that. What I meant was I'm really shocked about all this." I catched up.

Cass smiles brightly. "It's fine. But I swear, for a moment there I was really scared." We both laugh.

"I'm sorry. It's just you're getting married! And I'm your maid of honor!"

"Well, of course you are." She replied proudly.

"Thank you! It'll be a great honor. But you know I'm not into those gowns and weddings stuff."

Cass's face fells. "Please. Just this one. I really need your help in organizing the wedding."

"Okay, I guess. But when did you guys set the date?" I asked curiously.

"Ummmmmm.... The day you caught us in the kitchen." She says sheepishly.

I closed my eyes for a moment and pursed my lips, trying to forget the image in my head which came back to me all of a sudden when Cass mentioned that day.

"Let me get this straight. You guys finally decided to set the date and after that you got all horny and started groping each other?" I guessed.

"Uh.... Yeah." She looks anywhere but me.

I sighed. "You know I love you right but too much sex is just..."

"Healthy, I know." She blurts, then covers her mouth.

I chuckled. "Believe what you want."

"So are you gonna help me in my wedding or not?" She pipes in.

"I'm in. But just remember that too much of that will make me run. I'm still 18 remember." I reminded.

She nods. Our food finally arrives and we continue to talk about the theme of her wedding.

Cass knows that Nick isn't one of those big time billionaires and he can't afford a big wedding. Not that Cass wanted it that way. She just wanted to keep it small but still memorable at the same time. Complete with all that magical wedding style crap.

"Why did you guys think of marrying so soon? I mean you guys are just i you early twenties."

Cass shrugs. "Nick made a point that there wasn't a need for waiting when we're gonna get married anyway. It's just a matter of time. So why not now."

I nod slowly and sipped my drink.

"Excuse me!" I hear a high pitched voice exclaim which almost made me cringe. The sound screamed 'slut'. I glanced at Cass to see if she noticed which apparently she did.

The line was a bit long and I glanced at the blonde girl which totally looked like what I envisioned her would be, dress in a business suit. But the inappropriate kind.

The top two buttons opened to reveal her creamy white skin that looked pale in my defense. She might've eaten a little less this morning, Gods, she looked pale. I pity her diet routine.

Not to mention her pencil skirt looked so fit that it was already hugging her ass. The end almost mid-thigh. Her hair up in a sleek bun, showing her pale neck.

Where the hell does this girl work anyway?

"I need Mr. Shaw's order!" She said loudly which finally caught one of the waiter's attention and said what sounded like a 'wait'.

She stood on the side and finally stopped struggling against the long line and looked around the room.

When her gaze finally settled on me I swear I could see her eyes narrow and send me a warning look.

What the hell? I wanted to say. I didn't even know this girl.

A waiter appeared in front of hair and blocked my view of her and I politely averted my eyes.

"For Mr. Shaw." The waiter says out loud which finally caught my attention and I snapped my gaze back to them.

That's when I notice who Mr. Shaw is.

My mouth opens in shock. This slut worked for him! Did he fuck her like what he did with me? Bend her over the table where he earns millions?

No. The thought itself sent a pang of hurt over my heart. But no, I couldn't afford to shed a tear over him. He's not worth my worries.

"Hey, you okay?" Cass asks while looking at me with concern.

I nod my head, not affording to speak a word.

"I guess you heard that right?"

I nod again.

Cass sighs. "He probably won't stoop that low. I mean did you see her? It looked like she came from a yeast factory. Not to mention she's as pale as a ghost." Cass chuckles.

A smile tugs my lips.
