Song: Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran.
Totally love this song. And I listen to it every time there's a scene that's going to happen like what will happen in this chap ;)
And the video on the side is what I imagined this scene to be but with only less people and the dance more extravagant like in the Cinderella movie.
Totally look out for the Klaroline scenes! That was the main attraction!!!!!!

Alexander's hand was still extended to me and I blinked my stun away before clasping my hand together with his.
He pulled me closer to his chest and I immediately heard the slow song play in the background. He started slowly guiding me against the dance floor.
I didn't know much about waltzing or slow dancing but whatever dance this was Alexander seemed to know it well enough that I was just following his lead.
His hand was firmly on my waist keeping me in tow. His other hand gripping mine whilst my other was on his shoulder.
He glided us from side to side. My dress whooshing about. That's when I glanced down and looked at my dress which sparkled and glowed a bit more gold as we moved and as the skirt swayed.
Alexander twirled me around and I gasped as more golden sparkles appeared on the dress whenever the skirt twirled. I landed back in Alexander's chest and he chuckled at my surprised face.
"I-is my dress supposed to do that?" I said still in awe. I always thought the dress of the skirt was just that, a simple white. But no, it glimmered like it was photoshopped.
"It is." He said with a grin.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I gasped.
"And miss the look on you face?" He tilted his head to the side and moved his lips close to my ear.
"Never." He whispered before twirling me around again. And I gasped as my skirt twirled bigger and glimmered brighter.
"That move was uncalled for." I said still panting from awe and shock and whatever emotions there was to be felt in a moment like this.
I suddenly throwed my head back and giggled. I leaned my head against his chest as he swayed us slowly.
"Why are we dancing?" I asked in a giggle.
Alexander said nothing but simply danced the ballroom away. A small smile tugging the corners of his lips.
I've never seen him not as serious as he is right now. He looks young somehow.
He started making different moves and I followed his lead. I'm guessing this dance consisted of a lot of random steps which weren't a centered dance at all.
But I was having fun and I felt beautiful. People were staring. Most smiling brightly and looking inspired. Believe it or not, I felt like a princess at her very first ball.
I looked back at Alexander who had an unreadable expression. But nothing negative.
He looked particularly handsome tonight. All in white. It's a new look for me. And I don't know why he wore white. He was the only one in this room he did which made it all the more special.
He looked handsome but apart from all that I felt something different. Something that caused my insides to melt and see him in a different light.
There was a lot Alexander wasn't telling me. And I'm guessing it's one in his previous lives. He's got a lot of experience to reach what he is today. A lot of fucked up business. But I'm happy that he's here with me now.
I realize just then as he twirled me again and I landed back against him, that I was falling. And he was catching me. But will he catch me up until the end?
I didn't know if it was love I was feeling. But I didn't even know what love felt like. But maybe this is close to it.
I've never been one to fall so easily. With every step we made we were one. He claimed me as his and even though being a possession felt wrong to me, it felt right somehow when I'm with him.
I just hope I'm not the only one feeling this way.
The song was slowly coming to its end and Alexander dipped me down for the final part. He stared deep into my eyes and I couldn't help but stare back into its depths.
I parted my lips instinctively. But I knew he wouldn't kiss me. He couldn't, in a public place. A while ago I even caught a camera filming this very dance.
He wouldn't. He shouldn't.
But he did. His lips landed on mine and he led the pace. I let him. He kissed me slowly like he's savoring the moment which made it all special.
I forgot my doubts and the reason why I was even furious with him a moment ago. The kiss lasted for a few seconds and I noticed how hard it was for him to pull away with the way his face scrunched up as he stilled me up again.
We stood there in the middle of the room just as the song's beat ended and he gripped my hand and pulled me away from the dance floor.
People started dancing to a new song as Alexander led me to the balcony.
He stopped against the railing and leaned his elbows on it and stared up at the sky without saying a word.
I was still breathless from the dance and flustered from the kiss. But I leaned against the railing too looking at the wide expanse of the sky above us.
I glanced at Alexander who had an unreadable and guarded expression. I guess he was confused at something.
"Why did you do all this?" I asked in a voice barely audible.
Alexander sighed then closed his eyes. "I don't know. I guess that you deserve it. And everybody deserves to have their birthday celebrated. " He says with a hidden meaning behind the last sentence but I didn't ask any longer.
"Oh. I don't." I sighed then looked down. I felt Alexander shuffle and his hand land on my chin to tilt my head up and look at him.
"Never doubt yourself. You deserve all this and so much more. You're different from others. I know you care not just me, but others too." He said in a soft voice and if this was the movies I would've blushed.
I gulped then took a deep breath. "I just wanted to say thank you. For everything, not just this. I felt special today and I know the night's still young but that dance you gave me," I averted my eyes suddenly shy. "It made me feel like a princess." I attempted an awkward chuckle at the end.
Alexander didn't say anything, just gripped my chin tighter and kissed me with a new found passion.
"Happy birthday." He whispered as he pulled away then fireworks erupted at the sky. Glowing and lighting the place up.
I glanced at the ballroom as people walked to the windows and looked out at the stunning view.
I looked back at Alexander and kissed him this time. I led the kiss in a semi-fast pace, my hand gripping his nape to keep him in place which he gladly let me.
I gripped his hand when I pulled away and went back inside just as all the fireworks ended.
