Oh shit.
I bolted up the bed but failed miserably as a strong arm wrapped around my waist kept me down.
Images from last night rushed back into my head and I blushed as a tingling feeling erupted down my spine with the thoughts of last night's passion.
I look down at Alexander and I's position. Legs tangled as his arm wrapped around my waist to keep me in place. His face was snuggling the hollow of my neck. His hot breath tingling my neck.
One thought was on my mind. I need to get out of here.
Now.
I wriggled free out of his hold, trying not to wake him up but to no avail.
"Morning." He whispers over my ear before raising his head and looking me in the eye.
His hair reeks of bed hair and his face lazy from waking up. The longer I look at him, the longer I want to stay and snuggle up with him for the rest of the day. He is a fine sight in the morning. And I'm grateful that I could get the chance to see him in a vulnerable place, but I really need to go.
"I need to go." I blurted out and closed my eyes for a moment of embarrassment.
Alexander frowns. "Why so soon?"
"I-I just have to go home now."
I hastily stand up from the bed, forgetting I was totally naked.
My eyes widen as Alexander's gaze settle upon me and I don't know but I didn't manage to cover up myself. Maybe because I know that he's seen all of me already.
Alexander's eyes darken and he shifts to move away from the bed but I stop him.
"What's wrong, love?" He asks with concern.
I shake my head. "I just really need to go home. Bye." I said in a rush as I managed to grab my clothes in and out of the room and slip them on.
When I finally slipped on my other pair of shoes that's when Alexander comes out of the bedroom wearing only gray sweatpants. He looks edible.
I internally shake my head off of those thoughts.
I rush past him and his unreadable expression and open the door out of his apartment. He lets me go without a word. All the more reason to leave.
I manage to call Cass and tell her that I was fine and that I haven't been kidnapped. After a dozen of her missed calls I knew she should be the first to know that I was alright.
She told me that my parents were informed that I slept the night at her apartment. It was a very common lie but it worked. My dad paid no attention when I came home that morning.
I find him sitting down his favorite chair in the living room. One of my mother's late gifts to him. He makes it a hobby sitting there and reading a book. Just like me, I guess.
"Ah, there you are. Cass tells me you stayed the night because you were too tired. Are you feeling better now?"
"Yes." I answered with a reassuring smile.
I checked the time before stripping off yesterday's clothes and taking a good long shower. I wouldn't want Alexander's scent on my body linger any longer.
Truth is the reason why I ran off this morning was because I was scared that he'd be that one to let me out. And I don't mean in the good way.
For all I know he could probably kick me out of his apartment first thing in the morning. These kind of stuff are just a one time thing and I perfectly know that.
