Earthquake

128 15 11

Broken bricks,
And broken glasses.

Your favorite vase is shattered on the floor,
And the orchids are dried .

Curtains have fallen,
And the windows are broken.

The roof is collapsing down.
I know it from it's cracking sound.
Whenever I scream,
It screams back.

Your ring is hanging from the edge of the broken balcony case,
Falling any minute ,
And I'm begging it not to,
With locking my gaze on it .

The chandelier's on the floor,
It doesn't see any reasons to light up anymore.

The bathroom faucet is leaking,
Synced with my teardrops.

The Parisian carpet is tearing apart,
It's mesmerizing red flowers are covered with dust.
Just like this painful dried flower,
Collapsing in my chest.

Is it just you leaving,
Or is this an earthquake?

People change,
And I guess homes transform.
