Gravity

149 12 16

Look how desperately it devours the rain drops,
This hopelessly thirsty garden.

Look how eagerly they cave in
And smash themselves into the ground,
These cold droplets of water,
Hoping to find some warmth,
And a shelter from gravity.

Gravity.

I remember how you stared into my eyes,
And my heart fell for you.

Just like a red apple falling from a tree,
Hitting the ground,
Rolling down a hill,
Off to solve a mystery.

Gravity.

You take my hand,
And we walk in the rain.

And I wonder
If I can blame the gravity;

When you attract all my senses,
And become all I can feel.
