Lump

What's a lump?

It's a thing that won't let you breathe,
Until you break it,
Swallow it down,
Tear it apart.

It will make you rain on everything you were trying to keep dry.

A lump will show you
That it's not always easy to breathe.

Sometime you have to struggle to
Fill your lungs.

Sometimes you have to suffer to
Make the air leave.

A lump prevents you from screaming, even though you are dying to do so.

A lump lets your brain scream at you with dark thoughts, even though you are dying not to hear them .

A lump makes you want to cry,
Even though you want to be strong.

And when you cry,
It abandons you,
Lets you drown in your own tears.

It's the same with you.

When you are not around,
A lump is here with me.
