despite the constant buzzing of his phone, sapnap was too immersed in his note-taking to actually see his phone turning on and off with notification. it was late, or "early," depending on how you think of it. the actual time was around six in the morning, just around sunrise, and sapnap was excited. even though he'd originally turned down clay's suggestion of collabing with punz, he was actually animated to work with the faceless man, so much that he woke up at sunrise to plan.

light was starting to stream into the room from the open windows, flowing over sapnap's body in stripes. shutters were blocking some of the light, to the point that the rays wouldn't bother nick, but enough light was coming through the glass to light up the room. it startled sapnap, to say the least, and he looked up from his notepad.

"oh," sapnap mumbled as he looked over his shoulder at his phone sitting against the pillows. it was still going off.
