Izzy's POV 

I only got a few hours a sleep last night and I spent most of it drawing. Noting was working and I was driving myself crazy because I was so tired. I was sitting in the middle of my bed gripping my hair out of frustration. It was 9 a.m when dad came to check on me. 

Sweet Pea- Did you sleep at all last night 

Izzy- The fact I finished my whole journal from drawing and my phone is completely dead

Sweet Pea- What is going on Iz I thought we got past this

Izzy- So did I. I am literally about to rip my hair because I want to sleep. They weren't flashbacks but they were something 

Sweet Pea- About John 

Izzy- I drew all my dreams you can look. Oh my god someone hit a damn pan to my head so I can just sleep 

Sweet Pea- Don't do that 

Izzy- I want to sleep my eyes are going to fall out and I can feel how tired my body is but my mind won't shut up. I looked up ways to fall asleep. I drank water, meditated, anything. I looked up what to do for insomnia but nothing is working 

Sweet Pea- Hey relax 

Izzy- I've seen Kurtz do it all the time and I slept fine why is it effect me now

Fp- Everything alright t

Izzy- No I need sleep I only got 2 or 3 hours last night and I'm driving myself insane. I just want to sleep. Dad what do I do. 

Sweet Pea- Izzy relax 

He pulled me into a hug to calm me down. Billie came over and I petted her her for a minute. 

FP- I don't mean to ruin the moment but Toni called saying she closed school for today. Jug wants to spend the day with me

Sweet Pea- Okay 

Izzy- Sorry about last night. Don't have too much fun 

Fp- Its okay and we won't 

After grandpa left dad brought me back into the living room. He turned a guided meditation video on and he just run his fingers along my arm. He was telling me to listen to it an just pay attention to his fingers. 

Sweet Pea's POV

After 20 minutes Izzy finally was fast asleep. I picked her up and put her on the air mattress. The dogs laid next to her as I went to go get coffee. Toni was coming over to check on her. 

Toni- Sweet Pea you here 

Sweet Pea- Hey keep it down I just got her to sleep 

Toni- Hard night

Sweet Pea- Yeah she woke up 2 or 3 times last night but the last one she never fell back asleep

Toni- How did you convince her to stay home 

Sweet Pea- It wasn't easy. When I told her to stay home from school she looked me like I was crazy. 

Toni- Does she know Fangs isn't going to be at the school 

Sweet Pea- I don't know 

Toni- Well something last minute came up for him so she is going have to practice at home

Sweet Pea- I don't know what I'm going to do if this keeps happening. I don't want to give her anything that could mess with anything 

Toni- You will figure it out Sweet Pea 

I spent the morning with Toni talking about Serpent business. Around 1 pm I heard someone walk into the kitchen.
