Izzy's POV

For the past 6 months I have been going and seeing Pop while he's in the hospital. Everyday he got worse and it killed me to see him like this. Right now me, Tabitha, Toni, dad, and Toni are here to say bye to Pop since he's running on his last breaths. I'm sitting in a chair next to him and  holding his hand. Mary has tried to stop me to be here but I couldn't so Mary sent Toni and dad with me. The doctor is in the corner waiting to pull the plug. We haven't said a word since we walked into the room. 

Doctor- He's hitting the end you can say anything before you know

Pop- Izzy stay true to yourself and be that serpent girl you always wanted

Izzy- I am 

Pop- I know but keep fighting don't give up. Tabitha keep running the shop for me 

Tabitha- I will 

Pop- I love you girls. Can I get a last hug 

I slowly got on the bed and just hugged him. I had to pull away though. I just held his hand and then I heard that annoying beep then the last breath as he squeezed my hand. I heard it flat line and his hand drop from mine. Hearing that just broke me to pieces and I felt someone pull me away. It was dad because he was fully picking me up. I just hugged him as we walked out of the hospital room. I had no idea where we are going but all I know is I just want to be with dad. Next thing I know is I'm laying in my bed crying. Toni gets into bed with me as dad walks away. 

Toni- Izzy why don't you stay home today

Izzy- No 

Toni- I'm not asking Iz 

Izzy- No there's so much I need to do 

Toni- No you don't I handled it last night with James. Stay home and get some rest but your not working at all tonight

Izzy- Can I still go 

Toni- Its up to your dad but I'll mention it to him. I will run the bar until you feel up for it okay but take time to get better 

Izzy- Wait Toni 

Toni- Yeah 

Izzy- Can you take me to Mary's 

Toni- Yeah sure I'll let your dad know 

I grabbed my squish mellow and walked to Toni's bike. Soon they both came out. 

Sweet Pea- I have things to do with your mom but don't hesitate to call me okay 

Izzy- Okay teddy bear 

Sweet Pea- Hey watch it you may be having the shittiest day in your life in a few years but watch it 

Toni- Come on Sweet Pea you've changed 

Sweet Pea- I have not 

Izzy- You have 

I pulled out my phone and showed him how he used to act. 

Sweet Pea- I'm still like that 

Izzy- No your not. Can we go 

Toni- Yeah 

She jumped on and we drove to Mary's house. She knew it was going to be today so when she heard a bike she came walking out. Seeing Mary just made me start crying again. I got off and walked to her. 

Mary- Izzy this isn't fair for you or Tabitha 

Toni- I'm going to the Whyte Wyrm and she wants to go to the bar to be there but make sure Sweet Pea is fine with it
