*8 weeks later*

Izzy's POV

I have started to talk again and it was such a relief. I did stop working out and eating overall for 2 weeks because I just had so much self doubt in myself. Noella thought I was eating until she installed camera's and caught me not eating. When she confronted me about it Ali was over to hang out and both of them got worried. I did tell Mary about it and she was happy I told her about it because its so dangerous what I was doing. When I talked with Mary about it she had me come back later that day and we informed Sophia about it. She was worried about me so she had me eat specific things until I was at a weight that it would be safe to workout again. I am doing better now. 

Noella- My mom wants you to go over 

Izzy- Okay 

Noella- Have you eaten 

Izzy- Not yet I was tired didn't even realize. I'm not super hungry 

Noella- Eat something

Izzy- I will there's protein bars that I can eat for breakfast 

Noella- I made matcha baby 

Izzy- Oo

I got some in a to go cup and grabbed a protein bar. I grabbed my keys and headed to Mary's house. I got in and I almost got crushed because John was sliding. 

John- Hey didn't see you there

Izzy- Jesus John what are you doing

Mary- Dancing like a fool have anything to eat this morning

Izzy- Its one of those mornings I had a protein bar but I'll probably find gold fish or something and almost eat the damn thing

Mary- You want something else 

Izzy- Maybe after. Drew hey 

Drew- How you doing 

Izzy- Good 

Drew- I brought one of my good friends into town she will be here in a moment

Izzy- Okay

Mary- You meeting Sophia after 

Izzy- Yeah 

Mary- What do you have planned after 

Izzy- No clue

Mary- Okay 

Drew- Alright she's here. Izzy I'd like you to meet my best friend Cheryl Porter

Izzy- I know who she is oh my god she's in Riverdale 

While I was saying that I got up and hugged her. 

Cheryl P- How are you doing

Izzy- I'm doing alright. What about you 

Cheryl P- I'm well

Izzy- So uh Drew whats going on 

Drew- Thats for you to find out but I gotta run

Cheryl P- So why don't you tell me about that's been going on 

Izzy- With my voice

Cheryl P- Yeah 

Izzy- Well I am going to college and one of my classes is just a singing class. My college of arts teacher Alyssa is the best and cares for her students. I had damaged my vocal cords years ago and it wasn't serious. So one day she had her sister Rachel take over the class and one rule she gave her sister is to give us breaks. I was nervous and I knew something bad would happen but I went to the class. She had us sing all day no breaks and Drew was trying to have it so there was breaks but never happened. We then went on till 10 minutes till show time. That wasn't much time for vocal rest for me but I did the best. She pushed onto me solo's that have belting in it. I did 2 songs and I had destroyed my vocal cords. I had to get surgery for it and ever since that day I've been scared to sing again
