"Jemi? Saan ka nakakuha ng ganitong kalaking pera?"

I gulped hard when I heard the question from Bridget. Sumulyap ako sa kanya saka sa malaking bag na nakalagay ng pera na kinuha ko mismo sa'king savings. I smiled at her, assuring that's it's okay dahil sa kanyang itsura, parang nanhihinayang siya. We didn't want the baby yet, pero nandito na siya. We just can't kill it, I told them to just tell their mother about this, pero dahil takot si Bia at binagkakaabalaan na din ni tita Phoebe ang kanyang bagong asawa.

"That's mine don't worry, hindi naman ako nagkanaw."

"But where you did get that? It's really impossible to have that amount of money in your age, unless it's given by your parents." Bia's suspicious tone went in while rubbing her one-month baby. Ayaw niya na din na sa bahay nila manirahan so she made an excuse and just decided to rent a small room for nine months.

"I inherited that from my late grandfather, mother side." Bumuntong-hininga si Bianca at hinawakan ang aking kamay kasabay ng pagtulo ng kanyang luha.

"Thank you Jemi. I don't know what to do without this help, and you too sister for this small room."

"Sabi ko naman sayo sa apartment ko na lang."

"Pumupunta si Mama doon kapag Saturdays to check you out. Makikita niya ako." But the conversation was cut when the door's knob suddenly turned around! Nanlaki ang aming mga mata and Bianca started to run to her room, baka ang Mama niya ito, humugot kami ng malalim na hiningi kasabay ng pag aim ng isang malaking baseball bat sa taong naka likuran ng pinto, pero bago pa kami makapag attack, bumungad sa'min ang nakangiting mukha ni Kochana.

"Surpise!" she said out loud and began to close the door as I saw some medicine in the plastic bag she was holding. Her eyes explore the place until it landed on Briget who is holding the baseball bat.

Tumaas ang kilay ni Kochana. "Hindi pala ako inform na player ka na ngayon Bridge?"

"Punyetang babae ka! Akala namin si Mama ka na." Nakasabunot si Bridget sa kanyang ulo at umupo na.

Kori tilted her head and laugh loudly. "E? Tanga. Nasaan si buntis? Pinamimigay ni tita na ob-gyn." Her eyes roam around and she extended her hand to Bridget pero nakatayo na siya at masama ang timpla ng kanyang mga ugat.

"Sinabi mo sa tita mo about twinny?!"

"Hindi tanga! Tinanong ko lang kung ano ang mga meds na kailangan. I told titan a kailangan lang for the book of Jemima." My mouth turned into a 'o' that's a brilliant idea! Hindi na siya nagsalita at naglakad na papunta sa kwarto.

Months goes by at ganun na nga. Buntis si Bia and we tried everything we can do to hide it from everyone. Ayaw namin na maging eskandalo ito sa mga students in our school lalo na't wala pa siyang eighteen years old. She is just a minor and now she is being a mother.

I whispered as the gentle breeze waved and slapped my hair into reality as I stood up, wiping my tears away and bidding my goodbyes to my first love and probably the last.
