DING DING DING DING DINGGGG!!!

What the heck? Those were the first words that came to my mind as soon as I stirred into wakefulness. My hands made it's way to my half asleep eyes to rub it wide awake but all I can see is darkness. I can barely see the objects in my room. I thought there was a blackout in the orphanage or that it was going to be one stormy morning.

Well, that changed when I checked the red digits that flashed on my alarm clock: 3:16 am. I groaned aloud. As someone who had just saved and tended to a vampire the entire night, I wasn't happy. Good grief! I know auntie is strict and bossy and all but there is no damn way she would wake everyone up at this hour.

I was mistaken. The ringing came back and it became louder and louder. With no other choice, I got up from my bed to leave my room without bothering to change my pajamas. They're not the Mickey Mouse ones since I've learned from past experience.

I was tying my hair into a ponytail while I was walking to the dual staircase. A big yawn escaped my mouth, catching the attention of someone.

"Still sleepy, Yuna?" it was my auntie.

I nodded just as I finished tying my hair. "Yeah. Who's this psycho that's ringing a bell at 3 am?"

I noticed my auntie's expression turn sour with annoyance. "She's back," was her simple reply.

"Who?" I asked her but she didn't answer back. She just went ahead and climbed down the stairs and in front of the grand doors.

When I followed my auntie to ground floor, I realized we weren't the only ones awakened by this stupid bell. I could hear some doors opening followed by soft groans of annoyance and short appearances of the still sleepy or completely awake, nocturnal orphans.

The doors of the orphanage finally opened to reveal a girl who might be as old as me with a butt ton of makeup caked on her face. Her hair was in an ombré color from black to grey while she wore a simple yet provocative black dress and matching long acrylics on her nails. In her hand was a brass bell that kept ringing at every movement of her hand.

It's obvious she looks like a bitch, a witch bitch probably. I don't like those people.

"Hey Miss Hwang! Miss me?" the girl sounded so... bitchy, for lack of a better term, as she hugged my auntie.

A tight-lipped smile formed on her lips. "Minji. I see you've returned."

This girl, Minji, had a huge smile on her face. When I say huge, I mean a very plastic I-don't-care-if-this-tears-my-face smile. I never thought I would've cringed more, especially when she shrieked her lungs out.

"JANGMIII!!!" Minji practically ran to the stairs to greet a baffled Jangmi who seems to have just rolled out of bed.

"Jangmi, it's been too long! I've missed you~" she continued cooing to Jangmi, "How's my adorable twin sister these days?

Wait, what? Jangmi and Minji are twins?! This quiet and reserved Kim Jangmi is the twin of this loud and bitchy so called Kim Minji?!

I mean, if you would take off Minji's thick coat of makeup, I think they would've looked the same.

After practically choking Jangmi for half a minute straight, they finally broke off. But now I was hoping they didn't because as soon as her gaze landed on me, she looked disgusted. "And who are you?"

I turned to my auntie and she just nodded. That's when I got a hint to introduce myself. "Annyeonghaseyo, Jang Yuna imnida. (Hello, I'm Jang Yuna.)" I did my best to bow and introduce myself respectfully, as much as I didn't want to.
