"Is that everyone?" I asked Sunoo as I pushed the pushtray towards him.
Sunoo unloaded all the bottles of medicine and vitamins he was carrying unto the tray. "Almost. I need this one for Jay-hyung and his roommates," Sunoo said as he grabbed a bottle of vitamins, the same one I remembered Jay taking on my first day here.
Dang. I've been here for a while.
"I see. I'll go ahead to the other side," I told Sunoo and pushed my cart all the way to the right side of the villa. I flipped through my list and got the bottles for the orphans.
Suddenly, "Hey Yuna!" a voice called out to me from behind. I jumped and yelped before turning around to see the teleporting chocoball.
"Jungwon! Good god, I almost had a heart attack!" I exclaimed, still recovering from the shock.
He just laughed. "How are you still not used to this?"
"I don't know either," was my reply. I took a deep breath to calm my racing heart. "Anyway, what's up?"
"Sunoo-hyung said he was helping you give out daily medications and I wanna help!" Jungwon explained.
"Oh, you don't have to, Won—" I said but Jungwon cut me off.
"I insist, Yuna. There's nothing much to do around the orphanage anyway," with that, Jungwon glanced at my list and began taking some vitamins to give to his fellow orphans.
I just watched him try to help me out. I can't say no now. Besides, a little extra help doesn't hurt. "Thanks, Won."
It didn't take long for the three of us to be done with the first floor. As we regrouped in front of the double staircase, I thanked them for helping me out.
"It's no big deal, Yuna-ssi! You can always ask help from us," Sunoo said with a smile.
Jungwon nodded in agreement. "Exactly. Now, let's go to the second floor!"
I immediately shook my head. "Oh, you don't have to help me with the second floor too. I can manage."
"No no. We ain't leaving you until your entire task is finished," Jungwon insisted.
"Mhmm!" Sunoo hummed. "The more of us helping, the faster you get your work done. Now, you have more spare time for yourself."
"Right!" Jungwon added. "You'll have more time for a morning jog, book reading—"
"Or helping me in the attic," a third voice chimed in. The three of us turned around to see auntie heading down the stairs.
"Good morning, Miss Hwang!" both Jungwon and Sunoo bowed down and greeted auntie. I couldn't help but join them as well.
Auntie bowed her head in return. "Yes, good morning boys," she greeted before turning her attention to me. "Yuna, as soon as you're done, meet me in the attic. I need an extra pair of hands in there."
I nodded. "Yes auntie—"
"Actually, Miss Hwang," suddenly, Sunoo cut in, catching auntie's attention. "I propose that Jungwon and I will finish Yuna's job so both of you can begin with your errands early."
Auntie raised an eyebrow at Sunoo. "I presume both of you know how to get the job done?"
"Yes, Miss Hwang," the boys answered without hesitation. It made auntie nod.
"Well then, both of you continue the duty. I appreciate you both for helping out in the orphanage. Yuna, let's get to it," with that, auntie turned around and left.
That's when I turned to Sunoo. "Sunoo, you didn't have to do that!"
"It's already been done. Don't worry! Jungwon and I got this!" Sunoo reassured me with much enthusiasm. Jungwon nodded, putting his two thumbs up.
