I finished putting on my eye liner before I checked the time. It was 6:50 and Harry will be here within the next 10 minutes. I finished the rest of my makeup within the next 8 minutes and I slipped on my shoes. I hope he's not taking me anywhere extravagant because I definitely am not wearing appropriate clothes. All my clothes are packed. I still have a lot more packing to do but it can wait.

I heard the doorbell ring and I suddenly got a thousand butterflies in my stomach. I've never been this nervous before about a date. I checked myself one more time in the mirror. I was wearing a red flannel over a gray crop top and light washed high waisted shorts with my black high tops. This was my typical style. The only thing I  wear differently are those short dresses that barely cover my ass and really tall heels. And I only wear those to pick up one night stands.

I walked over to the door and opened it to find a very handsome looking Harry. He was wearing black skinny jeans with a white t-shirt that showed off his toned abs. He was so hot.
"Hey love," he smiled, passing me a bouquet of red roses. I didn't even notice he was holding them.

"Thanks," I smiled back and looked down at the roses. They were beautiful. "Let me go put these inside and then we'll go." I quickly walked inside, put them in a cup with water since we didn't have any vases and ran back to the door.

"Ready?"

"Yeah." I shut the door and grabbed his hand as we walked to the car. He opened the door for me and I quickly got in, watching him jog to the other side of the car. He got in and we drove off.

"So where are you taking me," I asked, breaking the silence.

"I thought we would be a little childish tonight and go to the carnival. Is that okay with you?"

"That sounds like so much fun," I said excitedly. I always loved carnivals.

"Great," he smiled. We drove in silence for a couple minutes until we arrived. He parked and we got out. He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the entrance. He wants to be here a lot more than I do.

We got to the entrance and I stopped in my tracks. A flashback of me dragging my mom to the entrance popped up in my mind. That was the last time I was here.

Harry looked back at me and the smile was off his face. "Babe, are you okay?"

"I-I'm fine." I mumbled. "Let's just go."

"Okay," he nodded. I tugged him toward the entrance. We were soon in and going towards a stand, where in all those classic books and movies, the person tries to knock down the three pins with a ball and you win a big teddy bear or whatever.

Harry paid for a turn and on his first one, he hit the top of it off. "C'mon Harry, you can do better than that." He gave me a death glare before he threw the next ball, knocking both off.

"You got it," I smiled and hugged him. "Now is the time when you choose a prize for me."

"I'll take the big bear right there," he pointed to a huge stuffed bear and the man at the stand grabbed it to give to us. I grabbed it pulled it into my chest. Harry wrapped his arm around my waist and we walked around. I've never felt more together then I was at this moment.

"That was fun," I smiled as Harry pulled into my driveway. "Thanks for taking me out Harry. I had a good time."

"I'm glad you did." It was silent before I looked over at him. I leaned in and pecked his cheek.

"I'll see you later."

"Do you want me to walk you up?"

"No. I'm a big girl curly. I can walk by myself now," I smirked.

"We are back to the nicknames, I see."

"Always were. Bye Harry."

"Bye love." I got out of the car and walked up my door. I heard Harry's car start back up and leave. I smiled as I opened my door. This was honestly the best night I've had in such a long time. Thanks to Harry I actually feel like things are starting to look good for me. But like all boys, they won't last nice for long.

I heard footsteps and I knew it was Steve. I saw his ugly presence come into my view. "Where were you?"

"I was out with Ha-someone."

"Who was it," he said sternly.

"None of your damn business." I shoved past him but he grabbed my arm.

"Don't talk to me like that. Now who was it with?" He squeezed my arm tight. I know there will be a bruise by tomorrow.

"I was with Harry. Now get the fuck off me." I tugged my arm out of his grip and started up the stairs.

"You were with Harry from the gym?"

"Yes I was. Do you have a fucking problem," I spit.

"Yes. You know he's training to become a famous fighter. I don't understand what he wants from a little slut like you when he could have any girl he wants," he smirked.

I just shrugged. "I don't know either. Maybe you should ask him some time." I walked to my room and shut the door. I sighed as I leaned against my door. I looked at all the boxes packed and I knew I had to finish tonight so I could get out of here as soon as possible.

I grabbed a box and started to put whatever fit in it. I did it with a few more boxes and I was finally finished. I looked at the time and saw it was two in the morning. I wasn't tired. I've slept so much in the past couple weeks then I have for a very long time.

I opened my door and saw the lights out. Great, Steve is asleep and all I have to do is move my boxes to the car and leave and never have to see him again unless it's the gym. Which I won't be going to a lot until he's cooled off about me moving.

I grabbed all of the boxes and set them by the door so it was easy to carry them to my car without making much sound. It took awhile but I finally got everything packed in my car. I went back inside and walked up the stairs to check and see if I left anything. I got up to my room and saw nothing. I opened my closet and didn't find a single thing. Then I opened the drawers to my dresser and I thought I found nothing until I had to do a double take. I saw a box. Where did this come from?

I picked it up and felt it was fairly heavy. It was also a little big. My heart stopped when I saw who it was from.

To: Addie
From: Momma

My eyes started to swell up with tears as I saw her name. I always called her momma. It just fit her. I couldn't open the box yet either. I know I should but I just couldn't. It was too soon to do any of that.

I put the box in my bag and walked back downstairs. I got into my car and drove away from the house that was my hell.
