I heard the front door slam and I stomped to the door. "What was that," I yelled.

"What was what," my step dad questioned.

"You know what. Who the fuck was that Harry kid?"

"That was my new client."

"New client? And he had to take over my time?"

"He's amazing. Never seen a kid fight as good as he does."

"Excuse me?" I rolled my eyes.

"You're not as great as you think Addie."

"I'm one of the best and you know it."

"No you aren't. I don't know where the hell you get that from." I got closer to him.

"I know I'm the best."

"No you fucking aren't. Now shut the hell up." He got close to me, his face inches from mine.

"Make me," I spit. What happened next really surprised me. He raised his hand and slapped me. I fell to the floor and grasped my face with my hand. He hasn't hit me ever since I started training.

"Get up and fight me bitch," he spit. I looked at him but dare not to move. I knew he was stronger than me. He could hurt me badly. It would ruin my fighting career. "That's what I thought. You aren't the best. Now shut the hell up and get to your room before I do something worse." I shoved him away from me as I got up and went to my room. I can't believe he did that to me. It's been almost a year since last time. That's one of the reasons why I took him up on his offer for fighting. I didn't want to do it at first. I didn't want to get hurt like I did from Steve but as I thought about it, it could make me stronger and be able to fight him and win. Tonight was shock for me but I promise, if this happens again, I will not hold back to fight him.

"I shit you not Jess. I'm about to kill that kid," I muttered. I was currently sitting at a local café with my best friend Jess. We've been friends since we were five. And we were both 19. Some friendships don't last and ours sure as hell did but I don't know how.
"All he did was tell you to watch where you're going," she reasoned. She was the optimist of this relationship. She always found the positive out of things. I wish I was more like her but opposites attract. Or so they say.

"It wasn't just that. He called me a bitch too."

"And you punched him?"

"Well I threatened him at first then he challenged me so I had to."

She chuckled. "Addie. Always the violent one."

"You know it," I winked. I heard the door to the shop open. I looked at the door and there he was, walking in with sunglasses covering his eyes. Even when I looked at him, it made me want to punch him.

I turned back to Jess to see her take a ship of her frap. She made a disgusted face. "I said extra Carmel. There is no extra Carmel in this." She got ready to get up but I stood up before her.

"I got this." I grabbed her cup and walked over to the line, behind Harry.
"You're inside you know? You don't need sunglasses."

He straightened himself before he turned around. "Oh look. It's the bitch."

"Is that my nickname now curly?"

"Yeah. It really describes you." He really pisses me off.

"You know I can bash your face in again right?"

"I'm not scared to hit a girl."

"And I'm not scared to get hit," I said. "It's your turn now."

He gave me a cold glare before he turned around and told the cashier his order. I smirked, knowing I won. Score one for Addie. Score zero for curly.
