[Mom] Oh, good morning. How's my little genius.
[Max] Dailjoubu desu. That means "I'm fine" in Japanese.
[Mom] Very impressive. But I was talking to Jackson.
[Max] Ubaya wangu. That means "My bad" in Swahili. I'm learning that, too. Ready to do your business. This time, Cosmo, you put it in the bag.
Max then opens the door to let Cosmo out.
[Mom] Jackson, are you ready to ace that history final?
[Jackson] I am so ready. I know all the answers. Go ahead. Ask me anything about Hamilton.
[Aunt Steph] How do I get tickets?
[Jackson] It's impossible.
[Aunt Steph] That's correct.
[Mom] How was the disputed Hayes-Tilden election of 1876 decided?
[Jackson] By the house Representatives in exchange for federal troops leaving the south, thus ending Reconstruction.
[Mom] Nailed it! You are so ready.
[Jackson] I know. I've never had this feeling before a test. I can't describe it.
[Mom] It's called being prepared.
[Jackson] Whoa! Thanks mom.
[Mom & Steph]Good luck.
Aunt Becky and Pamela come in.
[Aunt Becky] Good morning. Who ordered bagels and a baby?
[Dylan] Hi Aunt Becky. Pamela. Anyways bye I'm heading to practice.
~Time Skip~
I just finished practicing with the team and now I'm on my way home. As I'm walking I'm wondering how I should sneak into the house because of how dirty I am. I'm walking past the middle school when I come across my mom and Jackson.
[Mom] What happened to you.
[Dylan] Oh. I slipped.
[Mom] Did you roll around in the mud when you fell. Here come with us and then We'll go home.
[Dylan] Ok.
I follow after mom with Jackson walking next to me.
[Jackson] Did you really fall. Or were you playing soccer.
[Dylan] I fell. I don't even play soccer anymore.
[Jackson] You don't have to lie I see you sometimes playing. And also you're still wearing your soccer shoes.
[Dylan] Don't tell mom. I'll tell her soon. Also what are you guys doing here.
[Jackson] Oh. Mom wants to talk to Mr. Byenberg about my grade. Apparently I tanked it.
[Mom] Mr. Byenburg.
[Mr. Byenberg] My tuna fish sandwich.
[Mom] Oh! You're not really gonna eat that are you?
[Mr. Byenberg] No. That would be disgusting.
[Dylan] Did he just put that in his jacket.
[Jackson] Yeah.
[Mom] Excuse me. I'm here to talk about my son.
[Jackson] Can't me and Dylan just wait in the car?
[Mom] No. Jackson's grade did not reflect the work that he put in. He is smart and capable, and he already had his sights set on Har-vard. Harvard. Look, Jackson was ready for that test, and I know because I quizzed him. And yet, he failed. So... If it wasn't his fault and it wasn't mine, then whose fault could it be?
[Mr. Byenberg] Jackson's test score was not my fault.
[Mom] Then how do you explain it?
[Mr. Byenberg] I was confused, too. So, I regraded it by hand. It turns out, he started on line two, instead of line number one.
[Mom] You knucklehead.
[Mr. Byenberg] Which means he actually got a 94.
[Mom] You genius.
[Mr. Byenberg] I'm so happy for Jackson, I could smile.
[Mom] Oh, go ahead.
[Jackson] He is.
[Mr. Byenberg] I'm proud of you.
[Mom] I am so sorry, that I just... you know, you teachers are underpaid, and you're doing God's work. You're a good man, Mr. Byenberg.
Mom hugs Byenberg.
[Mr. Byenberg] Oh, I'm actually dating someone.
[Mom] She's a very lucky woman. Let's go boys.
Mom then takes us home.
[Mom] Go upstairs Jackson and wait until I call you down, and act surprised.
[Jackson] Ok.
[Mom] Dylan go get Joey.
[Dylan] Ok. Hey Joey come upstairs my mom wants you.
[Mom] Get your party hats on. I made Jackson wait in his room until we were ready. Jackson! Your surprise party's starting again! Act surprised!
[Aunt Steph] Hey, guys. Congratulations? Becky you told them there's a chance I could have a baby?
[Aunt Becky] Stephanie...
[Aunt Steph] This is exactly what I was afraid of. You guys would make way too big a deal out of it, with balloons and party hats and a cake that says "Congratulations, Jackson!" Oh! You know. Never mind.
[Mom] There's a chance you could have a baby?
[Joey] And I'm going to Disneyland? What a day!
[Aunt Becky] Well, there's a possibility, with the help of a surrogate, that Stephanie can have a baby.
[Mom & Kimmy] That's amazing news.
[Aunt Steph] No, just hold on, ok? Don't get too excited, because I've decided that I'm not doing it.
[Aunt Becky] Steph.
[Mom, Kimmy, & Joey] What?
[Jackson] Wow! A Jackson-is-a-genius party? I had no idea. You guys. Hey, if I'm gonna act surprised, you guys can at least act happy.
