Aang's POV

Today started off as any other. Reading manga, having some toast and mostly laying in my room. Yep, I finally moved most of my boxes to my room. Now, some of it isn't unpacked and it is very messy, but give it a few more days and I'll have it looking spotless. I haven't been able to talk to the girl ever since the incident because she turns away and crosses her arms every time I see her. Honestly, it's sometimes cute but she is really stubborn. And I don't even know her name. Most of the time I roll my eyes, but usually I keep pestering her until she either gives up and leaves, or tries to stay strong and ignore me. Either way, it's pretty hilarious.

I had finished tidying up my manga sets and decided to head downstairs for some lunch since I was starving. I ran downstairs, which probably was a mistake because I ended up tripping and fell down the rest of the steps, before immediately sitting up like nothing ever happened. I walked over to the kitchen and made a nutritious sandwich. It had only been a day since the event yesterday and I hadn't seen the girl anywhere. Perhaps she had gone shopping or something. I quickly shook my head at the thought and continued to munch on my new lunch, forgetting the events from yesterday.

After a few minutes, I decided to make a start on having everything ready. I had only taken the essentials from my house, so I didn't have everything I had there, and that was about to change. I needed to get the biggest and most important things first before all the decorations, which turned out to be a very small TV.
(Like one of those old TVs)
I decided I would grab it now, seeing as I had a lot of time to kill. And, plus, it didn't seem like my roommate was coming back anytime soon. Grabbing my jacket and my list, I set off outside. I wasn't determined to get it today since I knew I would probably get lost again. Man, not being able to read maps sucks.

Sighing, I started to walk toward the general area of the shop, which was slightly past the bench where I had met the boy Sokka. He was a weird one. I continued go walk, ignoring everything around me when I heard someone call out my name. It was a very familiar voice, one that sounded very feminine. Well, what's the worst that could happen? It's probably the girl asking me for something or apologizing for some odd reason. I turned my head... and instantly regretted my decision.

"Hey Aang! Wait up!"
Sokka yelled from behind, panting from running so fast. I quietly cursed myself before stopping and waiting for my friend to catch up, which took a while since he was slow as heck.

"Uhhhh... hey?"
I said, replying more like a question than a statement.

"H-hey *pant* thanks for *pant* stopping *pant* back there."
He breathed, his hands resting on his legs. I shrugged and quietly walked away, leaving Sokka to catch up with me.

"So, what are you doing? I thought you were staying somewhere."
He asked, curiously.

"Oh, I'm going shopping, you know, getting some... thingys."

"Ah, cool. Hey, I've just noticed. You aren't stuttering anymore."
He pointed out, looking at me.

"Really? Oh yeah, I am! HA-HA! Take that Tenzin, I can talk to people!!
I proudly said. Tenzin had made a bet that I wouldn't be able to talk regularly to people. Oh boy, I wish I could see his face. Sokka chuckled a little before looking forward again.

"So, do you like your new apartment?"
He questioned. I opened my mouth, before closing it again. I didn't really know how to answer that question, since I was literally being avoided by my roommate. I'm pretty sure Sokka could sense my hesitance, as he quickly changed the subject to something more comfortable. I didn't know it yet, but I would be extremely grateful for Sokka in the future. He would get me out of a lot of trouble.
