Rallebon was walking the village. She observed how peaceful everything was, the trees were rustling with the wind, the sun's rays were broken between the leaves which periodically blinded the cow onesie clad adventurer. There was a family of cats that observed Rallebon with their twitchy gaze, ready to bolt as the slightest movement towards them. A bumblebee buzzed by Rallebon's head and she observed the fat insect, wondering how it defied all known laws of aviation.

She walked down a run down path through the forest. It looked it used to be frequented by travelers, but now it is a desolate, lonely road. As Rallebon neared the village, time itself seemed to stop. The animals stopped making any noises, the wind stopped billowing above her head - even the river stopped its flow. In the eerie quiet, Rallebon quickened her pace out of a superstitious paranoia that growled at the depths of her mind. Rallebon found herself at the village entrance, where she found two figures standing on either side of the road.

These "guards" were about 10 feet tall, made completely of steel with overgrown vegetation spewed over their bodies. Their arms went down to their ankles, which have them a gorilla-like appearance. As they spotted the adventurer, their green eyes flicked to red as they began to saunter over to her. Their massive arms lazily swung at their sides and their legs shook the ground with every step.

Rallebon immediately tensed as she recognized the situation. She didn't want to draw her stashed weapon this early, but she had little choice. Before her weapon was drawn, a sharp whistle pierced the air. The eyes on the altitudinous figures flicked back to green as they began to wander back to their post.

"Sorry, we had them on attack mode. Monsters like to attack our place," A townsperson said as he emerged from a house once he heard the commotion. "Welcome to our humble settlement. I am the closest thing to the mayor around here."

"I see. Thank you for the... hospitality," Rallebon sarcastically states as she glanced at the steel constructs.

"Once again, we deeply apologize. For compensation, you should join my family for supper. We had a good harvest this year, so there is plenty to eat."

"I'm good, I'm not hungry, but-"

"Please, I implore you. It is the least we can do."

"No, really, I'm no-"

"I insist."

Rallebon was startled at the forcefulness of the man, but quickly regained composure. "Fine, but don't be disappointed if I don't eat much."

"That's fine. It's just we haven't had anyone visit us in quite some time. I just want to make you feel welcome."

"I understand." The pair walked to the house that he emerged from earlier. The man opened up the door and stepped inside. As Rallebon stepped up to enter the house, she was greeted by a few more people. They all seemed to be about the same age. They are probably just siblings. Rallebon walked through the door and set her backpack down. Just as she turned around, she saw as the others surrounded her.

She was trapped.
