The Fearless Fox

Chapter 2

After having managed to successfully escape Robotnik's Buzz Bombers the fox continues running in the forest at super speed but then suddenly he falls into a hole in the ground. The fox rolls down a tunnel but then soon he finds himself in another forest and he looks around in confusion and resumes walking. Soon he comes across a village and he looks around in amazement, because of his armor some of the people there take notice of him and stare a little bit. He slowly gets a little nervous with some of the people looking at him then suddenly a blue hedgehog runs up to the fox at super speed and looks at him, "Yo fox boy, what are you doing here?" The fox gets a little startled and was about to get in a fighting pose but decided not to, "Oh sorry, I just came across this place and decided to look around."

The hedgehog taps his shoe a little in suspicion, "How did you find this place?" The fox shrugs and says calmly, "I just fell in." The hedgehog raises an eyebrow in confusion, "Alright, name is Sonic. Who are you?" The fox thinks for a second, "I'm not sure really, I don't think I ever had a name." Sonic widens his eyes a little bit, "Weird, well maybe Sally can help you find a place to sleep."

Sonic walks to Sally's hut and the fox follows. Sonic knocks on Sally's door and she answers the door and looks at Sonic and narrows her eyes, "Oh, what do you want?" Sonic sighs a little annoyed, "This man with no name fell in, maybe you could help him find a place to sleep." The fox looks at Sally and is amazed by her beauty from her red hair to her brown fur. Sally looks at the fox and raises an eyebrow in confusion, "So you're the new guy?"

The fox nods hesitantly and Sonic whispers to Sally, "Try not to break his heart like you did with me." Sally looks at Sonic annoyed, "Can't you get over it?" Sonic growls a little bit, "Last time I checked no." Sally makes a fist, "This is why we broke up, you always make a scene." Sonic growls more, "Fine, I'm going back to Amy. She is a better woman than you, see you later you fucking whore!"

Sonic runs off at super speed and Sally looks down and slowly starts to tear up. The fox looks at Sally and sighs, "Hey, it will be okay. I promise, I know I'm still a stranger but just take my word for it." Sally makes a small smile, "Thanks, so you have no name huh?" The fox nods and looks at Sally, "Never had one." Sally smiles, "Well, what if I name you Alex Fox?"

The fox who is now named Alex smiles and wags his tail, "I like the sound of that, thank you so much Sally." Sally smiles, "Your welcome, so you need a place to sleep?" Alex nods and Sally looks around, "I think there is a spare hut for you, follow me." Sally leads Alex to a nearby hut and smiles, "Here it is." Alex looks at the hut and smiles and was about to say something but is nervous about telling her his past involving genocide so he decides to say something else, "Again, thank you so much Sally. Before I came here I was actually homeless."

Sally nods as she is shocked to hear that Alex used to be homeless, "You're very welcome, goodnight Alex." Alex wags his tail more, "Goodnight Sally." Alex goes inside his hut and lays down on the bed and soon falls asleep.
