The Fearless Fox

Chapter 7

In Robotnik's building, Alex is laying on the ground all bruised and bloodied and is gasping for his own life. Snively slowly approaches Alex and looks at him and he looks back and says with a weak tone, "Please, save me. Lives are on the line." Snively thinks for a second, "Why should I?" Alex continues gasping, "It's the right thing to do, surely you don't approve of the things Robotnik does. He must have done horrible things to you." Snively thinks more remembering all the times he has ever been abused by his Uncle Robotnik and tears up a little bit and nods, "I'll help."

Snively takes the Thalamite necklace off of Alex and throws it out the window and he slowly stops gasping and slowly gets up, "Thank you so much Snively, I won't forget this." Alex flies out and once he is gone Snively smiles menacingly, "No, thank you. Once he is gone I can finally take my rightful place as leader!" Snively laughs maniacally. Meanwhile at Knothole Village, there was chaos everywhere as people were panicking while Sally, Bunny, Antoine, Amy, Rotor, and Tails were trying to evacuate as many people as possible. Robotnik was killing the villagers with the Death Egg Robot in many ways such as stomping on them and launching bombs designed to look like Robotnik.

Suddenly Robotnik hears a familiar voice, "Yo Robuttnik, prepare to taste some speed!" Sonic was standing behind the Death Egg Robot and jumps and Spindashes towards him but before he could hit him Robotnik makes the mech turn around and smacks Sonic away which makes him crash into a tree and gets knocked out, luckily he isn't dead. Robotnik chuckles menacingly, "Forget it hedgehog, it's all about Alex now." Robotnik sees Sally and walks towards her and she stands in a defensive position trying to keep her courage, "So Sally, any last words?" Sally nods and says with a fierce tone, "I know that in the end Alex will defeat you!"

Robotnik laughs maniacally, "News flash, Alex is probably dead by now after what I did to him!" Robotnik uses one of the Death Egg Robot's drill arms on Sally but before it could hit her the unexpected happened, the drill arm stops. Robotnik raises an eyebrow in confusion and looks and is shocked to see that the drill arm stopped because it is being held by Alex Fox. Robotnik growls in anger, "You, I thought I killed you!" Alex smiles and chuckles as he then tears the arm off with his super strength, "Let's just say a little friend of yours helped me."

Robotnik makes a fist, "Snively will pay for this, but first let's see if you fully recovered from the Thalamite!" Alex flies up in the air and Robotnik uses the one drill arm that is still attached to try to attack him but he dodges it and slices the mech's legs off with his heat vision and because of it the mech falls over and stops working. Alex tears open the head of the Death Egg Robot and looks at Robotnik as he then chuckles nervously, "Hey Alex, can't we talk this over?" Alex then tackles Robotnik at super speed and starts flying into the air while screaming in anger. Alex then starts punching Robotnik repeatedly in the face, "You think you can threaten my loved ones?!"

Alex then stays in mid air and Robotnik spits out a bloody tooth then chuckles menacingly, "As a matter of fact I can, no matter what you do I will always find a way to come back." Alex sways his tail aggressively, "We'll see about that." Alex tears Robotnik in half and because of it Robotnik screams loudly in pain and blood and sparks fly everywhere. Alex returns to Knothole Village and pants in exhaustion and everyone including Sally looks at him. Sally slowly approaches Alex and looks at him with concern, "Alex, are you okay?"

Alex starts crying, "I'm not okay, I just killed another man. I broke a promise I made to myself long ago!" Sally hugs Alex tightly and pets him to comfort him, "It's okay, you did the right thing. If it weren't for that he would have killed us all." Alex purrs and slowly calms down and makes a small smile, "You're right, I love you so much Sally." Sally smiles back, "I love you too." Alex and Sally kiss each other deeply and everyone cheers as they are free from Robotnik's tyranny.
