The Fearless Fox

Chapter 3

Later in the morning at Robotropolis, Robotnik was pacing back and forth across the metallic floor of his building while thinking to himself, "This fox must be examined, see if he has any weakness, how he behaves, and most importantly what he can do." Snively looks at Robotnik, "Robotnik sir, any suggestions?" Robotnik nods, "Yes, send an army of SWATbots into Knothole so we may observe what the fox can do." Snively nods, "Yes Robotnik sir." Snively activates an army of SWATbots and uses this as an opportunity to get some stress out, "Alright you buckets of bolts, go to Knothole and attack the fox now!"

The SWATbots do as told and start making their way into Knothole Village. Meanwhile at Knothole Village, Sally Acorn was sitting on her bed while thinking, "How did Alex really get here? I know he said he is homeless but there has to be something more to it." Sally thinks more and blushes, "Plus he is kind of cute." Meanwhile Alex was walking around the village and comes across Rotor the Walrus who was in his lab while wearing a lab coat and protective mask while doing some welding. Alex walks inside and looks at Rotor, "Hello."

Rotor gets a little spooked and drops his welding torch and picks it back up and turns it off then looks at Alex with an embarrassed tone, "Oh hello, you must be that guy Sonic told me about." Alex nods and smiles, "The new guy yeah, who are you?" Rotor smiles back and says more calmly, "Rotor, who are you?" Alex wags his tail a little bit, "Name is Alex Fox, it's my new name." Rotor raises an eyebrow in confusion, "Alright."

Sally slowly walks into the room and towards Alex, "Hey Alex." Alex looks at Sally and smiles, "Good morning Sally." Sally smiles back, "Hey Alex, how are you?" Alex wags his tail, "Pretty good." Sally nods, "Glad to hear, so there is something I want to ask."

Alex nods, "What is it?" Sally looks at Alex and says calmly, "How did you really get here?" Alex gets a little nervous and says hesitantly, "We can talk later tonight in private." Suddenly an explosion can be heard and Alex's ears go up, "What the hell?!" Alex runs out and Sally follows, when they do there are several SWATbots entering Knothole Village and some start destroying the buildings and attacking some of the people.

Sally makes a fist, "Robotnik is at it again!" Alex looks at the SWATbots and sways his tail aggressively, "So that's who sent the robots after me last night." Sally runs to activate some of the defenses and Sonic starts fighting some of the SWATbots and so does Antoine with his sword and Bunny Rabbot with her martial arts and cybernetic limbs. Alex watches some of the buildings on fire and starts to cower in fear because it reminds him of his days of genocide as he starts having flashbacks of tearing people in half and lighting buildings on fire with his heat vision. The sight of the SWATbots can be seen through a monitor at Robotropolis which Robotnik is watching and he takes notice of Alex cowering in fear and he chuckles menacingly, "I guess you're just a pathetic little alien."

Robotnik takes control of one of the SWATbots and slowly approaches Alex and a blade slides out of it's wrist and it was about to attempt to slash at Alex but when it did the unexpected happened, the blade broke off when it struck Alex and he is unharmed. Alex looks at the SWATbots as his eyes start to glow red and Robotnik watches while in his seat with a bit of fear, "Oh shit." Alex starts destroying all the SWATbots using his various powers such as super strength, heat vision, freeze breath, and grabbing some of the SWATbots and flying into the air then throwing them to the ground which makes them explode. Everyone watches in shock and amazement as Alex soon defeats all the SWATbots and lands on the ground and looks at everyone and Antoine is frozen in shock then yells at the top of his lungs, "HOLY FUCKING SHIT!" Everyone starts cheering for Alex and he smiles and wags his tail then Sally runs towards him while stuttering a little bit in shock, "A-alex, that was amazing!"

Alex smiles and wags his tail, "Thank you, I'm just glad I was able to save the day." Meanwhile at Robotropolis, Robotnik growls and punches a wall, "That damn fox, he seems even worse than Sonic!" Snively watches with a bit of fear and Robotnik then chuckles menacingly, "It is confirmed, he truly would make a great ally and weapon. We just have to find a way to turn him over."
