Drista sat on the couch, with Dream sitting next to her. They were watching a TV show together, but Drista had her mind on other things. "Hey Dream, did you change your mind yet?"

"Nope."

"Whhhhy?" She whined.

"There is no way in hell I'm letting you spend the night at Ethan's house." Dream denied.

"Why not? We're just going to watch movies and play games. It'll be so fun."

"No, stop asking. Mom and Dad would kill me."

Drista crossed her arms and pouted. "Give me a valid reason. Come on, I'm waiting."

Dream paused the show and sighed. He knew using the 'because I said so' card didn't work. He learned that during his own teenage years. Since Drista was his responsibility now, he needed to put in some effort in raising her. "Drista...you can't spend a night away with a boy. I won't be able to check on you."

"Well can he come here all night then?"

"No-"

"Why?! Dream, please!"

"Drista, I- no, it's not a good idea."

"I'm still waiting for my reason!"

"Because Drista...two people that love each other in a room together, can lead to certain things."

"Huh?"

"Something that you're way too young for."

"Sex? Dream I'm 14, I know what sex is. You don't have to sugarcoat it."

Dream shifted around in discomfort. He didn't even like hearing the word come out of her mouth. "Right, sorry... That's your valid reason."

"Dream I'm not going to do that! I'm not interested, I'm way too young."

"I know...and I trust you."

"Then why can't he come over?"

"Because...he's older than you."

"So?"

"Which means he's probably got a different view on the topic."

"And?"

"And I don't want him manipulating you into growing up before you're ready. Teenage boys will pressure you into doing things you aren't ready for."

"Really? Have you ever pressured anybody?"

"No- but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen...no sleepover, okay? You'd be surprised how many girls your age get pregnant."

"What the fu- at my age? I'm 14! Only nearly 15, yikes!"

"Yeah, yikes. No boys, no risks. Okay?"

Drista sighed. "I really wanna spend the night with him though. It'll be fun, like when me and Lani have a sleepover. We'll watch movies, play games, probably throw popcorn at each other."

Dream shook his head. "I'll think about it...okay?" He got up and walked to the kitchen.

Drista smiled slightly.

Sapnap was in the kitchen, looking for a pre-bed snack. "Hey dude, how's the show going?"

"I couldn't even tell you..."

"Something wrong?" Sapnap got a cookie out of the cookie jar.

"Drista wants to have a sleepover with Ethan."

"Oh shit, really?"

"Yeah..."

"Guess that was a hard no from you?"
