Makoto Naegi POV
I woke up to Monokuma's normal morning announcement. Then he called us all to the gym.
"What's he gonna do to us this time...?"
We were practically frozen with fear. But Monokuma was determined to get us involved in his little game...
And with that goal in mind, he began it...
"Okay! lift your arms up and down!" said Monokuma.
"One, two, three, four!" yelled Kiyotaka Ishimaru, AKA Taka.
"Now reach waaay up, and bend waaaay down! Tighten those muscles! Let's add a little strength, a little speed to those young bodies of yours!"
"...."
"Doesn't this feel just great? Being stuck inside like this you gotta make sure to stay healthy!" Monokuma said exhausted. Somehow.
"You're the o-one keeping us [stuck inside] ..." Blurted Toko Fukawa AKA Toko.
"Don't sweat the small stuff! That's my motto. Whoa! I sounded pretty cool just now, don'tcha think?" questioned Monokuma. "Did you fall in love with me? Am I just to die for ? Am I just to die in writhing agony for?
"So... why did you call us here? Certainly it wasn't just to make us exercise..." Sakura Ogami AKA Sakura stated.
"Just to make you exercise? JUST to make you exercise!? If exercise will make you laugh, exercise will make you cry. Now, if you keep doing these exercises you will uncover the secret of the Assassin's Fist! Passed down from generation to generation in the Empire of Darkness... The power can be yours! Every time you overcome a class trial here at Hope's Peak, a whole new world will open up to you!" said Monokuma.
"A whole new world...?" questioned Yasuhiro Hagakure AKA Yasuhiro .
(A/N: I literally started singing "Whole new world" from Aladdin. My parents stared at me. Help)
"It'd really suck if you had live to here forever with nothing new to stimulate you! Besides, I know how you kids get these days with your ADD and ADHD. I gotta keep you motivated! So go ahead, look around all you want! Enjoy the brave new post-trial world till you explode! Oh and one more thing, there might be some changes that you would notice by the dorms"
With that, Monokuma disappeared, leaving us even more confused than when he'd shown up. But... "A new world...?"
"Is he talking about...a way to get outside?" said Aoi Asahina .
"That seems...unlikely." Celestia Ludenberg AKA Celeste said.
"Well we don't know till we look!" Mondo Owada AKA Mondo declared
"Whatever he ment, it seems we'll have to search the school one more time" Sakura said.
"Okay let's split up and start investigating! When you're done, everyone meet back up at the dining hall and we'll share what we found! Taka announced.
"You're basically a one-trick pony, you know that?" Byakuya Togami AKA Byakuya stated.
(A/N: I want a curb stomp this guy bruh)
"More like a stable food source! now let's get moving!" Taka answered.
After wondering around the halls of the school, I found that gate that was blocking the stairs open. Is this what Monokuma meant by [a new world]?
"If so...what's up there?"
As I opened the door I saw a hallway, blue-ish colour. This is...the 2nd floor of the school. Maybe there's some kind of clue here... Yeah, I'm sure of it. There's gotta be something here...!
After checking out most of the second floor I went back down to the dining hall to be greeted by Taka,
"Ladies and Gentlemen! How did it go? Did anyone discover any interesting new anything!?" Taka announced.
"There's a library!" Hifumi Yamada AKA Hifumi said.
"And a pool! A freakin' pool! And locker rooms filled with exercise equipment!" Aoi yelled excitedly.
"There was not however, anything resembling an escape route" Sakura said.
"Yeah...she's right..." I said back.
"Well hey, there's no reason to get all sulky! Wait till you here my amazing discovery!" The warehouse and the bathhouse on the 1st floor of the dorms are open! And the warehouse is chock-full of food, clothes, whatever you want. There's so much it's insane! So go ahead and stuff youself to the gills whenever you feel like! Hahaha!" Taka said.
"Keep in mind, of course, that going out at nighttime is still prohibited. Please do not forget...." Celeste stated.
"Oh I almost forgot, there's a new dorm room, so could we be getting a new student?" Taka asked.
"That might be but unlikely" said Kyoko.
"Okay, and what about a fu*kin' way out of here? You find anything like that?" Mondo added.
"Oh, well...um..." Taka said.
"There wasn't anything in the warehouse we could use to get our as*es outta here? Nothin'? Mondo yelled.
"U-Unfortunately.no...not that I saw..." Taka answered.
"You fu*kin' people... Who gives a shit if we have a goddamn pool now!? Or a warehouse, or whatever the fu*k! We're still trapped in ths piece of shit school! We need to find a goddamn way out!" Mondo yelled.
"Now, now. There is no point in taking your anger out on us. Adaptation is the key, yes? For now we must find a way to enjoy our current situation." Celeste said calmly.
"Whatever you say, ya fu*kin' loon..." Mondo said back angrily.
"For now let's just continue our investigation, and let everyone know if you discover something." Taka announced poorly.
"So, are we done for today?" asked Kyoko
"W-Well...yeah, I guess so." Taka sad sounding disappointed
The air seemed to suddenly grow heavy. Was it the mastermind's plan to give us hope, just to turn around and betray that hope...?
