Y/n POV:

"Ok im going out bye I love you" Mai says walking to the door.

"Wait wait where are you going" I say confused slightly.

"O-oh just to a friends" she stumbles over her words.

A small smirk comes over my face "a friend? As a in boy" I say smiling.

"Goodbye mom" she says giggling to herself walking out the door.

"Fine goodbye I love you, be safe" I speak as she nods her head then shuts the door. Quickly running to the window I see her getting into a car. Though I couldn't see a face I had my suspicions. Slightly excited at the thought of her having a boyfriend.

"What are you doing" Louis says coming out of bathroom.

"Our daughter is out with a boy" smiling to myself.

"What" his mood changed slightly, walking to the window where I stand. Before he could see anything the car had already dove away. His face slightly annoyed he walked away "come on let's go lay down" he suggested.

Following behind "she's 16 now she can date" I say sitting down next to him.

His arms wrap around my body pulling me close "whatever I wanna meet him though" his deep voice says.

"Ok there buddy we aren't even sure she has a boyfriend. I'll talk to her later about it" I say leaning into his touch.

The night goes on Mai's curfew was 11 so she should be arriving home soon. Small excitement bubbles inside me. As the door opens at 10:45, she's early. Before she gets to the living room I whisper to Louis "at least he got her home early" .

"Try hard" he mumbles making my slap him on the chest.

"Don't act like you didn't do that to me" I finish right when Mai walks in.

"Hey" I welcome her a she walks passed us.

"Hi" she says quickly then running up to her bedroom.

Both me and Louis look at each other confused for a second. The shrug it off, the night goes on now me and Louis have to go to bed. "Hey I'm going to go talk to Mai for a minute" I tell Louis as he walks into the bathroom. Both of us had already gotten into our pajama.

He nods continuing his way as I leave the room. Knocking on the closed door, I hear a "come in" which I do so.

"Hey" I smile sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Hi" Mai says putting down her phone.

"Sooooo who's the boy" I say going closer to her. Her eyes roll jokingly, "oh come on" I whine.

"Fine. His name is Aaron. That's it. We have only been on 2 dates" she says blushing slightly.

"Ok ok sooo when can I meet him" I smile at her.

"Not yet. Gosh let the boy ask me to be his girlfriend first" she laughs, making my giggle.

"Haha sorry I'm just excited" speaking with a high voice. "Ok goodnight I love you" I say leaving the room.

"Goodnight I love you too" she says going on her phone again.

(Time skip : 1 week later)

Sitting at the dinner table, laughing about our days. Until Louis speak again "so Mai do you wanna have that Aaron boy over on Friday for dinner" I raise an eyebrow at her. I had spoken to Louis on our time, we both decided that we wanted to meet him.
