 Surprise misunderstanding

Y/n POV:

Louis birthday was coming up so I decided it to surprise him. I had a whole plan, flowers, picnic, during sun set, then star gazing.

I already got a few thing but they weren't to special. Except for one thing, a very special pendent, it was quite rear and cost a lot. I definitely am not made of money so I've been working extra shifts at my job at a bookstore. I even have been babysitting as much as a can, created really bad eye bags under my eyes.

Due to all this work I haven't really been hangout with Louis. Like at all. I couldn't tell him that I've been working more because then he would ask questions and it would ruin the surprise. I felt bad because when I did see him I was probably in a bad mood or extremely tired.

Today I had school, that's one more thing to add to the list of things needed to be done. I get out of bed and rush out the door to the bus. Once I get onto the bus and sits down I felt someone sit next to me. I look over and see Louis with a smile on his face. I smile back tiredly. " hey you wanna hangout today after school. I feel like I haven't see you" he said sadly looking into my eyes.

" I uh I cant I'm sorry" I stuttered to him starting to look down at my feet. It's been a few minutes of Louis talking about something random to be honest I wasn't listening. Till I heard a buzz. I take out my phone and see a text.

Adam:

"Ya I can do today. 4pm?"

The texted read. I sighed and opened the text.

" that's good with me"

I answered him. Adam was the guy helping me get the pendent. Looks like he finally got it in the shop.  I looked up and rubbed my eyes tiredly. " who's that" Louis voice said from beside me.

" oh it's no one" I said trying to cover it up. He muttered a 'ok' then walked away. There was a few more minutes till the bus would be a school. I looked behind me where he sat. He was with his friend and laughing. He made eye contact with me and just looked away. ' um ok' I thought to myself.

(Time skip: after school)

Louis POV:

I was sitting at my friends house. Most of them were playing some video game but I was to busy thinking about Y/n. As much as I don't wanna say it but I think she's cheating on me. I was pretty upset about the situation and my birthday was in a few days, does she even know?

" hey mate what's up" William asked coming to sit next to me.

" ya ya i guess" I answered rubbing the back of my head and letting a sigh.

" what's on your mind I can tell something bothering you" he said trying to get me to open up.

" uh well I know this might sound weird but I think Y/n is cheating on me" I said leaning forward. That got my all my friends attention. They all looked shocked and confused wanting more of an explanation.

" wait what why" one of them said looking at me and pausing the game.

I look at all them and start to explain. " well first I never see her any more. Like ever and when I do she has no energy and seems like she doesn't wanna be there. Second I asked her to hangout later today and she said she can't then a few minutes later this guy text her and said ' we can meet at 4' and she literally says ' oh ya of course' like what about me. Then a few days ago at like 11 pm I went to her house because I wanted to see her and her sister said she wasn't home and probably won't be any time soon. So where is she at 11 pm at night. I know she isn't working because that's not her times. Also she hasn't said anything about my birthday like at all" I explained to all of them. All of them tried to think of something to say. Also trying to taking in all that I said.
