30. Broken

I look back to see Suga standing a few meters away from me. Calling out my name. No, I don't want him to be here. As he starts to come closer to me I feel my tears unable to be held back, even after all of these attempts of hiding myself why is he the one to see me in this state. 

Why is he going to be the one to lend me his shoulder, to see me cry? Our distance started to get less when I felt someone pulling me from the back causing me to hug him. As I look up.

Jin...! 

I am here Jisoo, I am here. Don't worry.

Causing me to at last break out in his chest.

Jin's Pov:

Flaskback~

I managed to get Jisoo's manager number cause she is not picking up. Why is she like this? Why does she always keep on hiding herself? Nowadays she doesn't even let me see her. To at least see her and get closer to her I said I will do the movie.

Calling Unknown Number~

Hello?

Hello, MISS, this is Kim SeokJin. 

Kim SeokJin? Mr. Jin! 

Yes, I wanted to talk to Miss Jisoo, I am already on my way to her house. AH- about the movie you know. Is she there?

Mr.Jin! I need you here, please. Jisoo went out, she is having a panic attack. It would be a great help if you find her. She might even faint in the middle of the road.

Where is she? 

She just went out. She is near I believe.

Flashback ended~

I look at Min Suga who is standing there dumbfounded. I signal him to go and surprisingly he agrees to it. As he takes his car and goes away. 

Jisoo crying her heart out, causing her to get weak on her knees as we sit down in the middle of the road and she keeps on crying. I could feel her pain, she was crying close to my heart trying to hide her from the surrounding with her face buried in my chest. Kim Jisoo at last I found you from your hidden cabinet. I hope the game of hide and seek between us ends here. 

The next morning~

Jisoo's Pov:

I open my eyes just to find Lisa sleeping by my side. I am in my room but what is Lisa doing here?

Liz? 

Unnie you are awake?

What are you doing here?

We can talk about it later. How do you feel now? 

Okay..my voice a bit cracked. Now tell me what happened? 

Yesterday Oppa called me and told me to come with a lady who is outside our house. I came with her and found you in an unconscious state. Oppa told me that you got dehydration and fainted. And told me to stay here beside you. 

Where is he? 

He is sleeping in another room.

Oh. 

You should get some more sleep. We can talk later if you want to. 

Okay- Jisoo said closing her eyes in relief. For the first time in her life, there were people beside her who were concerned about her. A tear escaping her eyes when her lips curled up in a smile. 

Jin's Pov:

I open my eyes and see the familiar room that I ended up sleeping in yesterday. I had already changed into a different shirt yesterday that Lisa brought with her.  I should check on Jisoo now.

You are awake Lisa? 

I see Lisa standing in the kitchen probably making breakfast. 

Yes.

You adopted to this house quicker than you did to our house when we came from Thailand.

It just feels like home when I have you and Unnie both beside me. 

She said giving me a kiss on the cheeks.

Is she awake?

No still sleeping. Go on, check on her.

Hmm.

This may be your only chance to see her sleeping at peace.

I have seen her sleeping before as well.

Don't Lisa. I am going to check on her now.

I walk inside Jisoo's room as naturally as possible, obviously an act of trying to convince myself that it is totally fine to check on her in her room while she is sound asleep. 

I see her sleeping in her white covered pillow with a blue-colored quilt over her. Lisa was right maybe it is once in a lifetime opportunity to see her sleeping while her lips curled up in a smile. Before I saw her sleeping but this, this is different. I want to protect this smile, this is the first time I have seen her smiling honestly. 

I sit beside her sleeping self, my hands naturally making it's way to her hair. I start to stroke her hair while her face gets more eased. I can stroke them for hours if that can keep you away from all of this mess. I stared at her taking in her smile when I hear someone coming in. I don't know from where I got this bravery but I didn't move and kept stroking her hair while my eyes fixated on the door. I see the lady from the previous day, Jisoo's Manager. 

Oh, you are here. - she said with a big smile.

Yes, I am sorry. - unable to find any cause but on the second thought none of this does make sense, I have no cause or excuse for what I did or what I am doing.

No, don't be. She will be embarrassed for sure but she would like it. 

Huh? - her manager causes me to be dumbfounded.

So you wanna know?

It would be better if I hear from her.

Hmm, that might take some time. Still, as you wish....but I want to let you know something.

"A man who had brought her nothing but misery" is the reason behind her this state.
