Ayanna open her eyes slightly trying to block the sun light that was coming through her windows, once she got fully adjusted with the sun light she placed her attention on the empty room.

She wonder how long she had been sleep and if anyone had came to see her, she wonder where her grandmother was at. She looked down at her stomach almost forgetting about her unborn child that was due soon.

She said a silent prayer thanking God for not taking her life or her baby life away, she reached for the button to press for a nurse to come in, within a few minutes the doctor and a nurse rushed in to see who had pushed the button.

"You are awake Mrs. Carter do you remember anything?" The doctor asked

Ayanna shook her head "Have any one been up here to see me?"

"Yes a lot of people actually we can call your grandmother she was up here last night." The nurse said with a warm smile

Yanna smiled when she heard that her grandmother was up here "You can call her how is the baby?"

"The baby is healthy as ever thanks to the mother without you, you or your baby wouldn't be here today." The doctor said

Yanna thanked God for not letting her or her baby leave this earth just yet she knew she had a lot to prove at such a young age, she also wanted her baby to have a life so they could experience it for themselves.

"You go ahead and get some rest now and we'll call your grandmother with the good news." The nurse said

Demetrious walked quickly to Ayanna room she covered her mouth as she watched her granddaughter who was sitting up eating her food.

"My baby." Demetrious said out loud catching Ayanna attention

Ayanna smiled once she seen her grandma who rushed over towards her for a hug Demetrious was blessed that her granddaughter and her unborn great grandchild was safe and okay.

"How are you feeling?" Demetrious asked

"I feel fine I just want to hurry up and get out of here." Ayanna said she hated the hospital

"I spoke to the doctor he said you can go home tomorrow once they run a few more test on you today." Demetrious said pulling a seat near the bed

Ayanna nodded her head at the statement "Who all been here to see me?"

"Everyone including your father and sister." Demetrious said

Ayanna was surprised that Charles had came to see her the last time they talked Ayanna was chewing him out for being an absent father in her life, his visit gave her hope that they're relationship could be repaired.

"He's really trying to be in my life." Ayanna said

"Yes he really is he loves you Yanna, he may not been there when you were younger but he is trying to make it up to you now you should let him." Demetrious said

Ayanna only nodded her head she was going to sit on it for awhile before making any type of decision yet, she didn't want to get her hopes up and one day he'll leave again.

Hearing a knock at the door Ayanna along with Demetrious looked up to see who it was to Ayanna surprise she seen Unique walk in to the room with a big smile one her face, Unique was more than happy to see her little cousin up and talking.

Unique rushed to Yanna bedside giving her a hug trying her best not squeeze the life out of her "I'm glad you're up had me worried thinking If you was going to make it or not."
