"Okay Mr. Doe you are fully discharged" the nurse said to me
"Okay thanks" I said getting up off the bed
I walked over to Blyke
"Any updates on his condition?" I asked
"No sorry" the nurse said
"Alright" I sighed
When I got out of the hospital, I texted Elaine

I got to my apartment before Elaine which gave me the opportunity to crash on the couch
After a few minutes I heard a knock on the door
I got up and opened the door revealing Elaine
"Hey Ela-" I was cut off by Elaine wrapping her arms around my neck and giving me a hug.
The hug startled me and I lost my balance and we fell on the ground
"Happy to see you to" I said
"Oh sorry" a blushing Elaine said unwrapping her arms and getting off of me.
"It's fine" I said holding my shoulder
"How are you feeling?" She asked
"Better" I said
"Good, now come on, I need to go to the mall" she said
"Right now??? I just got home from being shot, AT THE MALL" I said
"Yeah, yeah, whatever" she said
"Please?" I asked
"Fine" she sighed
We made our way to the couch to watch a movie even though it was still morning and Elaine should be at school
"How long do you have to until you fully recover Elaine asked me
"Only another day or two, and headmaster Vaughn gave me those days off" I said
"That's good" Elaine said
"Yeah" I said
I laid down and put my head in Elaine's lap
"So I'm skipping for the rest of the day, so what do you want to do" Elaine asked
"I dunno" I said "You?"
"Mall" Elaine said immediately
"Yeah, yeah what else" I asked
I felt Elaine shrug
"Dunno" she said
"Okay then" I said
I continued watching the while Elaine played with my hair
"Please John" Elaine said
"What?" I asked
"Please... stop using that fucking hair gel" she yelled
I sighed
"Never" I said
She smacked my head
"Yes" she said
I sighed again
"You know what... Fine" I said
"Really!!!!" Elaine said exited
"Nope" I said
