The trolls ran as fast as they could, the growl beasts following close behind.
Soon they reached a fork in the road.
"Split up!" Poppy yelled.
Prince D, Copper, Barb, Synth, Poppy and Branch went to the right, while everyone else went to the left, the growl beasts stopped for a moment, and then spit up to follow each group of trolls.
"They're coming!" Prince D yelled.
"Keep running!" Poppy ordered.
As they were running, they were suddenly blocked off by a wall, with only one way to go.
"We have to stop!" Branch yelled. "That's the tunnel of certain death!"
"Well if we stop, we get eaten by growl beasts! Does that sound better to you!?" Barb yelled back at Branch.
"Just keep running!" Poppy yelled. "Don't stop no matter what!"
They ran into the tunnel, the growl beasts behind them stopping, too scared to follow.
One of them roared, and then they all turned around, running back the opposite direction.
"Are they... still following... us?" Synth panted.
"I don't... know," Poppy yelled. "Just keep running!"
The tunnel they were in was pitch black, and they couldn't see a thing, but they listened to Poppy, and kept running.
Suddenly, the path ended, dropping off into a deep pit. The trolls didn't notice, and just kept running.
Branch was in the front of the group, his foot stepping off the edge.
"AHHHHH!" he screamed, as he fell.
"Branch!" Poppy yelled, still unable to see a thing. "What happ..." Her question was cut off, when she suddenly fell too, everyone else falling after. "AHHHHH!"
