"Oooooo! Aaaaaaaa!" the trolls all said in unison, as they looked out the window, the taxi driving past so many cool things.
"Guys..." Branch said from where he stood on the seat, not looking out the window with the rest of them.
"Shouldn't we... I don't know... be figuring out a way to get back home?"
Poppy looked at him, smiling.
"I know you're worried, Branch, but we'll get home. I promise. In the meantime... look at all this cool stuff." She gestured out the window.
"Cool? Just looks deadly to me," he grumbled, crossing his arms. Then he thought about it.
If Poppy thought it was safe... then he would too.
He climbed up onto the window with the others, looking out it.
Branch tried to be positive, and see the beauty of it all, but all he could see was the dangers. Birds... giants... trash... it all looked so... so... well... dangerous.
"I... think I'm just gonna go sit back down," he said, turning to go back to his seat.
"Branch, wait," Poppy said, grabbing onto his wrist. She smiled at him, and then began to sing.
"Jumped in the cab, here I am for the first time. Look to my right, and I see the Hollywood sign." She pointed out the window, as the taxi drove past the Hollywood sign.
"This is all so crazy. Everybody seems so famous."
She looked over at Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick, who where walking down the Hollywood walk of fame, chatting with each other.
"Hmmm..." Poppy said, pausing the song. "They sound so familiar," she said.
Then she shrugged, spinning Branch to continue the song.
"My tummy's turnin' and I'm feelin' kinda home sick. Too much pressure and I'm nervous," Branch sang, clutching his stomach, as if he was gonna puke.
"That's when the taxi man turned on the radio. And a Jay-Z song was on," Poppy sang. "And a Jay-Z song was on. And a Jay-Z song was on."
"So I put my hands up. They're playing my song, the butterflies fly away," everyone sang together, dancing around Branch, who watched nervously.
"I'm noddin' my head like, yeah. Movin' my hips like, yeah. I got my hands up, they're playing my song. They know I'm gonna be okay. Yeah, it's a party in the U.S.A. Yeah, it's a party in the U.S.A."
"Get to the club in my taxi cab. Everybody's looking at me now," Poppy sang.
A few people on the sidewalk were staring at the taxi, noticing the trolls in the window.
Branch slunk away, nervously, trying not to be spotted, but the others just waved, smiling wide, as the people looked on in confusion, having no idea what they where.
"Like, 'Who's that chick, that's rockin' kicks?
She gotta be from out of town'," Poppy continued singing."So hard with my girls not around me. It's definitely not a Trollstopia party. 'Cause all I see are stilettos. I guess I never got the memo."
"My tummy's turnin' and I'm feelin' kinda home sick. Too much pressure and I'm nervous," Branch sang again, trying to go back to his seat, but Poppy grabbed his arm, pulling him back to dance with her.
"That's when the DJ dropped my favorite tune. And a Britney song was on. And a Britney song was on. And a Britney song was on."
"So I put my hands up. They're playing my song, the butterflies fly away," everyone sang together. Even Molly was clapping with the beat, singing along, joyfully.
"I'm noddin' my head like, yeah. Movin' my hips like, yeah. I got my hands up, they're playing my song. They know I'm gonna be okay. Yeah, it's a party in the U.S.A. Yeah, it's a party in the U.S.A."
"Feel like hopping on a flight. Back to my hometown tonight," Branch sang.
Poppy booped his nose, smiling, as she continued the song.
"Something stops me every time. The DJ plays my song and I feel alright."
"So I put my hands up. They're playing my song, the butterflies fly away. I'm noddin' my head like, yeah (noddin' my head). Movin' my hips like, yeah (ooh yeah). I got my hands up, they're playing my song. They know I'm gonna be okay (gonna be okay). Yeah, it's a party in the U.S.A. Yeah, it's a party in the U.S.A."
"So I put my hands up. They're playing my song, the butterflies fly away (flying away). I'm noddin' my head like, yeah (noddin' my head like, yeah). Movin' my hips like, yeah (movin' my hips like, yeah). I got my hands up, they're playing my song. They know I'm gonna be okay (I'm gonna be okay). Yeah, it's a party in the U.S.A. Yeah (ha-ha-ha-ha), it's a party in the U.S.A!"
