Molly sat up on her knees, looking out the back window of the taxi. She smiled, seeing that the Exterminator was no longer following them.

"Ok, guys. We're safe now," she said, sitting down, and buckling up.

Then she looked over at Poppy and Branch, her smile fading.

"Ow..." Branch whimpered, quietly, as Poppy looked at his hand. There was a massive gash in it, and it was bleeding a lot.

"It's ok, Branch," Poppy said, calmly, checking him over.

She reached into her hair, pulling out a first-aid kit that Branch had given to her, back during his bunker days.

"You... you kept that?" Branch asked, recognizing it instantly.
"Of coarse I did," Poppy replied with a small smile.
"Everyone else just threw it out," he mumbled, looking away.
"Well I'm not everyone else. It was a present from you, and I would never throw that away."

He looked at her, smiling, and she kissed his cheek.

His smile faded however, as he looked away, sadly.

"I... I'm sorry," he said. Poppy's smile faded too, as she looked at him, confused.

     "Sorry for what?" she asked.
"For being so paranoid all the time. If I had just listened to you, and trusted Molly..." He lowered his head, shutting his eyes.

"No, Branch... I'm sorry," she replied, turning his head, gently, to look at her.

"I don't want you to change who you are. I love who you are."

     Branch smiled, slightly.

"And I love who you are," he replied, kissing her forehead.

Poppy finished bandaging his hand, and then hugged him.

"You ok?" she asked, worried about him.

     He smiled, hugging her back.

"As long as I'm with you... how could I not be?"
