So this ship exists and it is fascinating.

Snape and Voldemort is something that I feel should not exist, but the fact that it does exist is hilarious

Snape and Voldemort is something that I feel should not exist, but the fact that it does exist is hilarious.

When I looked up the ship on ao3, only a few hundred results popped up, which is a travesty when you consider the 13,000 that were suggested for Snarry. Apparently pedophilia is more attractive than two consenting (if creepy and terrible) adults.

THE POSITIVES

1. Though this ship may be horrifying to picture, at least it isn't pedophilia. Plus, at least if Snape and Voldemort are a couple, they have no time to be terrible people.

2. I can imagine them being a cute couple. Picnics on the beach, slow dancing together. Snape rubbing his nose off Voldemort's nonexistent one. Perhaps they could have a family and raise their little mini voldys and snapeys together. But being serious, maybe they deserve each other.

3. It's hilarious. I would read a troll fic of this 100%.

4. I don't think anybody else is awful enough to deserve Snape.

THE NEGATIVES

1. This is a terrible thing to picture. I read some Snoldemort smut before writing this chapter and I now have to carry that burden for the rest of my life.

2. There is a large age gap. Voldemort was born in 1926, Snape in 1960. Voldemort could be his father. There's nothing wrong with age gaps in theory, but in this case I think not.

3. There is a power imbalance. Voldemort is in essence a cult leader and Snape a disciple.

IN CONCLUSION

This ship is in theory terrible but in practice hilarious. Kindly tag me in any fics you may find/write of this. The worse the better.
