I think that the Potter fandom has this weird, creepy tendency to ship everyone and anyone with everyone and anyone in every single possible combination imaginable, even when no one has any relation to each other. So it is with Snron (and wow is that awkward to say).
Unlike Snarry and even Snamione, Ron doesn't have any kind of relation with Snape at all. He hates Snape right along with Harry and makes jokes about him, but that's it. They barely even talk. We've already covered the age gap issue, so it probably doesn't need to be said. In complete honesty, I'm mainly confused on this one.
Just...why? Why would Snape fall in love with Ron, a student who hates him? Harry, who he abuses and hates, is Ron's best friend. Is this some kind of way of getting back at Harry? Or...
This makes no sense. I can't recall Ron and Snape talking that much, but I know that Ron watched Snape abuse his best friends, taunt his best friend and love interest into changing her teeth, belittle and harass Harry and especially Neville, and nearly kill Neville's toad. Why would he ever be attracted to someone who hurts those he loves like that? He saw firsthand Snape's cruelty. And at one point in the movies, Snape slapped him.
Like all Snape ships, I find this one disgusting and weird, but in addition to that, it honestly makes no sense, making it one of the most bizarre Snape ships I've ever encountered.
