"Jimin!" Taehyung called with a bright smile on his face.

"No." Jimin declined.

"Jimin come on!" The younger whined with a pouty bottom lip.

"No." Jimin declined once again.

"What about even doing homework together?" Tae offered knowing Jimin hated homework and would take any help he could get.

"Fine." The black haired boy rolled his eyes and sighed heavily.

Taehyung had been trying to get Jimin to hang out with him for a whole week. Naturally Jimin was pretty uninterested, seeing as though having a friend is still pretty new for him. He had no idea how friendships worked or how much effort they required but he was already tired. Already annoyed and it hasn't even been a month yet.

"Class?" Jimin walked with Taehyung trailing along next to him happily. The wind blew gracefully as they walked through the park to get to the library.

"Math? I'm pretty good with it!" Tae exclaimed with the same boxy smile as always. Jimin though annoyed with the boy next to him was actually quite grateful for his presence. Taehyung brought positive energy everywhere he was and it was starting to effect Jimin. In the best way. The dark haired boy was smiling more and more open to more upbeat things.

"Sure math works." Both boys walked into the quiet library and waved to the librarian as they took over one of the tables. They pulled out their text books and calculators and got straight to work. Taehyung knew better than to try to mess around after he said he wouldn't.

"Okay and for number ten?" Jimin asked. He did have trouble with math and basically all other subjects. Not because he wasn't paying attention but rather whenever he had a question he was too scared to ask. But Taehyung made him feel safe. Taehyung made him feel like he would never make fun of him and that is the only reason Jimin can speak normally without hesitation around the younger.

"Um for number ten I got x=19." Jimin sighed evidently not getting the same answer or anything close.

"You'll get it Min. Don't worry." Taehyung gave him a smile and explained how he got it. Eventually Jimin got the hang of it and with the help of Taehyung he finished the assignment.

"Thank you again." Jimin expressed his gratitude with a light tap on the shoulder to which Taehyung was ecstatic about. Physical contact is something he's learned Jimin is not a fan of. So this meant a lot to him even if it was only a small gesture.

"Of course Min-ah." Taehyung smiled.

"Still don't like the names." Jimin said but they both know he adores them.

"You'll love them don't worry." They both laughed and every time Taehyung heard a giggle from Jimin his heart softened a little.

"Your laugh is adorable." Jimin blushed furiously at the compliment.

Compliments. They were never given to him before. But know that he knows Taehyung he gets them left and right. It makes him feel so vulnerable so he wouldn't allow it from anyone else. Taehyung is his safe place. Taehyung wouldn't let anything happen to him. He promised.

"And don't blush like that it's gonna make me blush." They both giggled. As much as Taehyung didn't want to admit it he might've been developing feelings for the older that were more than platonic. He was sent to Jimin to check on him. Because Jungkook was concerned for him. Jungkook sent Taehyung to Jimin. Jungkook was concerned for Jimin.

After the day on the street Jungkook was forever done because he hadn't realized what he'd done. But when he did the best way he thought to help was giving Jimin the best friend he had, Taehyung. He knew well that Taehyung could befriend him and he hoped that Taehyung would also get Jimin to forgive him. To not hate him the way he does now because Jungkook was far from hating Jimin. Taehyungs mission was never to catch feelings but I guess plans don't always work as the should.

"Where are we going?"

"I actually wanted to talk." He told the black hair boy and Jimin nodded as they continued to walk.

"About." Jimin asked.

"Jungkook." Taehyung said hesitantly with a sad smile.

"Why?" Jimins smile quickly faulted his lips pressed into a line.

"Do you think you would ever give him a chance to explain himself?" Jimin scoffed going completely silent as he rolled his eyes.

"Hey I'm not trying to push you. It's just- Jungkook is my friend... and we care about you." Taehyung said and Jimins face scrunched up in disgust. He hated Jungkook and believed nothing would change that.

"No. You do. He- he's a monster." Jimin said angrily.

"I promise you he's not Jimin." Taehyung whined. He didn't want jimin to hate Jungkook either. He would prefer if they were all friends but knew very well that wouldn't happen. Not with the drastic difference between Jimin and Jungkooks feelings.

"You have no clue what he's done to me." Jimin winced.

"I have an idea." Taehyung sighed remembering what the raven had told him about Jimin.

"Then you wouldn't be saying that." Jimin huffed.

"But-"

"This conversation is done." Jimin dismissed and Taehyung thought it was best not to push any more. This is going to take a while, he thought. But how long before Taehyung would want to steal Jimin for himself?
