Clubbing:
Estella
Right as I finish my make up I hear Isabella shouting from down stairs. "Estella are you ready yet?" I walk over to my bedroom door and open it. "Yes, I am almost done just let me put my outfit on and I'll be out of the room." I hear her say 'Okay' as I grab my outfit. I pull my dressing pants on and tuck in my shirt adding a blazer to it. Done. I walk down the stairs and see my best friend waiting for me in the kitchen.
"Tada" I say as I give her a little twirl as she shakes her head with a smile. "You are lucky that it's your birthday weekend because I would have left you." she says as I roll my eyes at her. "Sure you would have, you love me too much." She sticks her tongue out at me, and I return the favor.
"Well hurry up now, I trying to get you to a club because you take forever." She hurriedly pushes me out the door with purse, phone, and lipstick in hand. We walk over to the cars in the garage and I pick my favorite the white Audi grabbing the keys from the wall of keys. I choose to listen to The Weeknd because who doesn't like a good song by him. The drive is about 30 minutes, and I'm not complaining because I got a fun choice of songs to choose from. I put my playlist on shuffle as we go down the wooded drive.
Once we finally stopped at the side of the entrance of the club I could hear the loud music, people just waiting in the line to walk into the club. I am not the biggest fan of long lines. We starts to pull up in the parking lot and I pull out my red lipstick and apply some to my lips. I pucker them up and smile at myself in the mirror. I love red lipstick, but only in the dark because in the dark it brings the attention to my lips. Bright red doesn't complement my skin what so ever.
Once we parked and the line was shorter than what we saw about 5 minutes ago we wait behind the 10 people left. We both hand the person at the front our Id's before walking in. I've never really wanted to go to a club because of everything I've heard about them, and because I've been below the age requirement. The bouncer at the front looks at our faces and hands us our ID's back. Newly 21 and single.
We usually would go to parties every once in a while, but since it was my 21 birthday yesterday we had to celebrate the 'correct way' or whatever Bella said a few weeks ago. We were only in Italy because I wanted to study away from Mexico and she wanted to come to see the city. As we walk in I look around for a place to go sit in. "Stella, I'm gonna go get us some drinks. I'll meet you at the booth." She yells loud enough, pointing to an open booth to the left side of the entrance. I nod and hold my clutch closer to myself as she walks one way and I walk the other. She had told me earlier that I would need to give my name for the booth because she had booked it for me.
I walk towards the booth while I wait for Bella to come back. "Miss, may I please have a first and last name for the reservation?" I look at the man and smile. "Yes, Estella Gallardo'' I answered loud enough so he could hear me. He looked down at the papers in front of him and nods, opening the small velvet hanger thing. I thank him and walked down to the booth me and Isabella saw. I feel a slight shiver down my spine as I walk past a group of men sitting in the booth I pass. Some seem older than my father and some that were just too perverted for my liking. Playing with my necklace while I walk with the guy that was kind enough to help me with finding it.
It seems his name is called once we make it to the booth. I turn to thank him once more, but he was already half way back when I looked at the way we came from. I turn to look at the booth that we 'just had to have'. I see beautiful details with 'Happy birthday Stella' on the table with a card and bottle on the table. I grab my phone to take a picture for the memories to show my mama when I go back to Mexico.
