"Hey! Wait up for me!" Nora called out to Quinton and Blaine, just as they were about to exit Gillans.

Quinton turned around, eye brow raised.

"I'm sorry, Nora, do you need something?" Quinton asked her as she reached their feet.

"No. No. I just wanted to tag along with you guys today - at Sheridan."

Blaine and Quinton glanced at each other for a moment.

"Nora, as much as I appreciate your enthusiasm, I do not think that its necessary for you to attend Sheridan with us today."

Nora looked at Quinton in disbelief.

"What? Why not? What makes today any different than the other day?"

"Nora, today, I will have several assignments to follow up with and I won't be able to entertain you today."

"I don't need to be entertained , Quinton. I'm not a child. I just want to accompany you guys and see more of Sheridan. Is that so much to ask?"

Quinton let out a breath and ruffled his well combed hair.

"Nora, please. I'm not saying you're infantile at all, but I do not see the need for you to sit in my office in silence."

"Then put me to work!" Nora challenged. "I did the task you assigned me competently, didn't I? I can handle whatever you throw at me."

"Nora-" Quinton began before he was cut off.

"Come on. I don't want to be here all day again. It's not like I can just bring myself to Wicks, as much as I'd like, since you've told me I can't." Nora said, frustrated

Quinton was silent for a moment, processing her words. A tinge of guilt came upon him. He had to admit that with the amount of work recently, Nora's plans for Wicks had fled his mind. He tried to find some excuse to dissuade Nora from coming but he really couldn't think up a reason as to why he should.

"Fine." Nora sighed, disheartened. Nora began to leave, but Quinton called out to her.

"Nora. You can come along. I warn you now that it probably will not be much fun, but if you truly want to join us, you may."

Nora gave Quinton a stunning smile and Quinton was willing to say that phrase over and over again if it meant she would keep smiling at him the way she was.

"Thank you!" Nora gushed before heading out the door, leaving Quinton and Blaine to stare after her.

"And you say she's just a mate." Blaine whispered, nudging Quinton with his elbow.

Blaine ran off to the car before Quinton's glare could singe him.

Later on...

Quinton wasn't joking. Once they got to Sheridan, Quinton was instantly surrounded by his gammas and pulled into the conference room. He left Nora without a word. Nora made her way to Quinton's office again, trying to bid her time.

At first she sat there, twiddling her thumbs. When that got boring, she went to the waiting and room and decided to watch some shows. It helped the time to fly. Nora hadn't watched television in such a long while. The T.V. her family owned in Wicks was small and didn't offer many channels to view.  Thankfully the T.V. gave her something to do, but she was beginning to regret her decision to come. She did not like to think that Quinton was right about having her not come today.

Nora was watching some commercial when she heard footsteps. Suddenly the door opened and Providence popped her head in.

"Quinton told me you were here. Sorry for not coming by to greet you. I've just been swamped with work."
