Y/N's POV
Few days went by when suddenly Mrs. Kim's health declined and she was bed ridden. Jin didn't usually showed up for work and he just stayed by her side.
I was outside her room when I overheard Jin talking to the doctor.
Jin:Is she going to be alright?
Doctor:It's hard to say since her condition is unstable. Something has been bothering her and it's stressing her out. It's not good for her and it might make things worse. She might end up having a heart attack. I would suggest you to do anything possible to keep her happy so that she doesn't stress.
Jin knew why his mother was stressed and he considered it all his fault.
I felt bad for him. I wish I could do something to help Mrs. Kim get better.
Y/N:Mrs. Kim, you asked to see me?
Mrs. Kim:Yes dear.
Y/N:I'm sorry for not visiting you often. How are you feeling today?
Mrs. Kim:I'm glad now that you're here.
She asked me to sit by her side as well as Jin. She took my hand and put it in
his. I was surprised by her actions. She held our hands together and put them near her heart as she smiled at the two of us.
Mrs. Kim:Seeing you two together eases my heart. I know I don't have much time so I want to see you two beside each other as much as I can, before I finally go.
Jin:Mom, please don't say that.
Y/N:Yes Mrs. Kim, please don't say things like that.
Mrs. Kim:I can't run from the truth. I'll die sooner or later but before I go, I wish to see my son married to a woman who can look after him after I'm gone. I so wish that woman is you Y/N.
Jin:Mom, if that is what you wish for...then I'll make it come true. I will marry Y/N.
I looked at him shocked. He took both my hands in his and looked
me straight in the eye.
Jin:Y/N...will you marry me?
Mrs. Kim smiled and looked at me, expecting a positive answer.
